Recitation No. 398

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Before we continue to recite verse No 239 of surah 2 Al-Baqoroh, let us first look into a Hadith which yours truly had reported in the much earlier session inorder to help us to be engrossed in our Sholat.: Muhammad bin Tharif conveyed to us (this Hadith) from Al-Lits bin Sa'd from Nafi' that Abdullah bin Umar said, "The Prophet s.a.w. once entered into the mosque while people were performing Sholat saw a patch of phlegm on the wall. And after the people finished their sholat, he s.a.w. scraped off the phlegm and said, "Any of you while sholat, Allah is present at the front of you. So, do not ever spit to the front of you while sholat." reported by Ibnu Majah.
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
فَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ فَرِجَالًا أَوْ رُكْبَانًا صلى
=  "Fa In Khif Tum Fa Ri-ja~lan Aw Ruk-ba~na~".
 "Fa" = then,
 "In" (after the silent Nun is a "KHo", is an Izh-har Halqi / Guttural expressing clearly the silent Nun without any humming sound) = if
 "Khif" = to be afraid,
 "Tum" (after the silent Mim is a "Fa", is an Izh-har Syafawi / Oral expressing clearly the silent Mim) = you (pl.)
 "Fa" = then
 "Ri-ja~lan" (after the Tanwin Lam ia a standing Hamzah, is an Izhhar Halqi, same as above) = by walking
 "Aw" ( a Mad Lin / soft and without emphasis) = or
 "Ruk-ba~nan" (the letter "Kaf" is not a Qolqolah but it is a Hams / whisperingly, of soft and of low nature, and it is a Syiddah / forceful, that is the flow of the wind is held back but also is an Is-tifal / sedimentary that is the tongue is not raised, but is flat. It is NOT a Qolqolah and is not pronounced as "Ruke" but it is "Ruk-". A Mad Ashli, 2 harakah. And we pause at the Tanwin Nun Alif becomes "-na~" a Mad Ashli, 2 harakah) = as a rider
سلى  = a Washol Jaiz Maa Kaun Al-Washol Awla sign denotes pausing is permitted but Washol / not pausing is preferred.
 = " Then if you (pl.) were afraid, then (sholat) while walking or while on a ride."       = (When we are in danger and are afraid of any harm will befall on us, then we are allowed to perform sholat while walking and perform it simply according to our capability, or while riding. Nowaday, we ride in vehicles, we may perform sholat while sitting in the vehicle.). (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see all of You Quran Lovers later.
 Wassalamu alaikum w. w.
