Recitation No. 416

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite verse 248. Please refer to the Text :
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ ءَايَةَ مُلْكِهِى ~ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ التَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَ بَقِيَّةٌ مِمَّا تَرَكَ ءَالُ مُوسَىآ  وَءَالُ هَارُونَ تَحْمِلُهُ الْمَلَآئِكَةُ  ج  
=  "Wa Qo~la La Hum Na-biy-yu Hum In~na A~ya-ta Mul-ki Hi~~ Ai~yaa-ti-ya Ku-mut-Ta~bu~tu Fi~ Hi Sa-ki~na-tum~Mir-Rob-bi Kum Wa Ya-qiy-ya-tum~Mim~ma~ Ta-ro-ka A~lu Mu~sa~ Wa A~lu Ha~ru~na Tah-mi-lu Hul-Ma-la~~i-kah".
"Wa" = and,  "Qo~la (a Mad Ashli) = he said,  "la" = to,  "Hum" (after the silent Mim is a Nun, is an Izhhar Syafawi, no humming sound of the nasal) = them,  "Na-biy-yu" = Prophet,  "Hum" (after the silent Mim is a standing Hamzah, is an Izhhar Syafawi) = their,
"In~na" (the Syaddah Nun is a Wajibul-Ghunnah, with a humming sound of the nasal, 2 harakah) = truly,  "A~ya-ta" (a Mad Ashli) = sign,  "Mul-ki" = rule, monarchy,  sovereign power,  "Hi" (with a tiny Ya and a long Mad sign denotes it is a Mad Shilah Towi~lah to 4 or 5 harakah) = his,  "An" (after the silent Nun is a "Ya" is an Idghom Maal-Ghunnah/ Assimilating the silent Nun into "Ya" with a humming sound of the nasal to 2 harakah, "Ai~y") = that,  "Yaa-ti-ya" = come (to),  "Ku-mu" (after the front sign Mim is an Alif Lam Syamsiyah/ the Sun Definite Article, the Alif Lam are not pronounced. "-mut-") = you (pl.),  "At-Ta~bu~tu" (both are Mad Ashli) = the Ark of Convenant,  "Fi~" (a Mad Ashli) = in,  "Hi" = it,  "Sa-ki~na-tun" (a Mad Ashli. After the Tanwin Ta Marbutah is a Mim, is an Idghom Maal-Ghunnah, same as above, "-tum~" = calmness, satisfaction,  "Min" (after the silent Nun is a "Ro", is an Idghom Bi La~ Ghunnah/ Assimilating the silent Nun into the "Ro" without a humming sound) = from,  "Rob-bi" = Lord,  "Kum" (after the silent Mim is a "Waw", is an Izhhar Syafawi, same as above) = your (pl.),  "Wa" = and,  "Ba-qiy-ya-tun" (after the Tanwin Ta Marbutah is a "Mim", is an Idghom Maal-Ghunnah, same as above, "-tum~") = remains, relic,  "Mim~ma~" (the Syaddah Mim is a Wajibul-Ghunnah, same as above. A Mad Ashli) = from what,  "Ta-ro-ka" = leave behind,  "A~lu" (a Mad Ashli) = family,  "Mu~sa~" (both are Mad Ashli) = Moses,  "Wa" = and,  "A~lu" = family,  "Ha~ru~na(both are Mad Ashli) = Aaron,  "Tah-mi-lu" = to bring,  "Hu" (after the front sign "He" is an Alif Lam Qomariyah / the Moon Definite Article/ the silent Lam is pronounced, "-hul-") = it,
"Al-Ma-la~~i-ka-tu" (After the Mad Ashli is a Hamzah and is in the same word, is a Mad Wajib Muttashil, to 4 or 5 harakah. We pause at the front sign "Ta Marbutah", it becomes a "He", "-i-kah") = the Angels.   ج  = a Waqof Jaiz/pause is permitted sign.
=  " And their Prophet said to them, "Truly, a sign of his sovereign power is that there will come to you (pl.) an "At-Ta~bu~t"/the Ark of Covenant, in it is (a thing that causes) calmness and satisfaction (to you) from your Lord and (it contains) relic left by the family of Moses and family of Aaron, it (will be) brought (to us) by the Angels".     =  (When Prophet Samuel a.s. introduced Tolut/Saul as the New King to the Israelites, he a.s. was asked what was the sign of Tolut/Saul's sovereign power. He a.s. replied, "Really, the sign of his Sovereign Power is that there will come to you people, an At-Tabut/ Ark of Convenant which contains thing that will make your hearts and soul calm and satisfied. The Tabut will be brought forth by the Angels of God".  (to be continued).
