أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh verse 246. Please refer to the Text :
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
قَالَ هَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِن كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِتَالُ أَلَّا تُقَاتِلُواْ  صلى
"Qo~la Hal 'A-sai Tum Ink~Ku-ti-ba 'A-ali Ku-mul-Qi-ta~lu Al-la~ Tu-qo~-ti-lu~".
"Qo~la" (a Mad Ashli) = He said,  "Hal" = are,  " 'A-sai" (a Mad Lin / soft, half emphasis) = perhaps,  "Tum" (after the silent Mim is a standing Hamzah, is an Izh-har Syafawi, the silent Mim is pronounced clearly without a humming sound of the nasal) = you (pl.),  "In" (after the silent Nun is a "Kaf", is an Ikhfaa Haqiqi, hiding the silent Nun under the "Kaf" with a humming sound of the nasal, 2 harakah, "Ink~") = if,   "Ku-ti-ba" = obligate,   " 'A-lai" (a Mad Lin, same as above) = on,  "Ku-mu" (after the front sign Mim is an Alif Lam Qomariyah / the Moon Definite Article, the silent Lam is pronounced, "-mul-" = you (pl.),   "Al-Qi-ta~lu" (a Mad Ashli) = the fight, the struggle, the hard work,  "Al-la~" (a Mad Ashli) = lest
"Tu-qo~ti-lu~" (2 Mad Ashli) = you (pl.) fight, struggle.
صلى  = a Waqof Jaiz sign
=  "He (the Prophet a.s.) replied, "Would it (not be) perhaps if you were obligated to fight / struggle (for Yehweh Cause) lest you would not fight / work hard?!".    =    (When the Prophet Syamuil / Samuel heard the challenge made by his people, asking him to ask God to send  them a king to lead them, he a.s. replied, "Perhaps when you are obligated to fight / work hard, you all would refuse to fight."). (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see all of You Quran Lovers later.
Wassalamu alaikum w. w.
Abdul Hamid Mohd Yusof Ali.
