Recitation No. 413

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Yours truly wish to correct an untentionally made mistakes in Recitation Nos. 411 & 412 :Jalut is not Saul but is the gaint Goliath. Very sorry about that.
Let us now continue to recite verse 247. Please refer to the Text :
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ بَعَثَ لَكُمْ طَالُوتَ مَلِكًا  ج
=  "Wa Qo~la La Hum Na-biy-yu Hum In~nal-Loha Qod Ba-'a-tha La Kum To~lu~ta Ma-li-ka~".
"Wa" = and,  "Qo~la" (a Mad Ashli) = he said,  "La" = to,  "Hum" (after the silent Mim is a "Nun", is an Izhhar Syafawi, the silent Mim is pronounced distinctively and clearly without a humming sound of the nasal) = them,  "In~na" (a Wajibul-Ghunnah, 2 harakah. After the above sign Nun is an Alif Lam Syamsiyah, the Alif Lam are not pronounced, "-nal-") = that,  "Al-Loha" (a Lafzhul-Jalalah, the second Lam is a Tafkhim) = The God
"Qod" (the silent Dal is a Qolqoloh Sughro, is emphasized gently) = already,  "Ba-'a-tha" = to delegate,  "La" = to,  "Kum" (after the silent Mim is a "To", is an Izhhar Syafawi, same as above) = you (pl.),  "To~lu~ta" (both are Mad Ashli) = SAUL,  "Ma-li-kan" (we pause at this Mad Ashli with a Tanwin sign, becomes a Mad Ashli, "-ka~") = king.   ج  = a Waqof Jaiz sign, pause is permitted.
=  "And their Prophet said to them that The God had delegated  To~lu~t / Saul as a king among you/them".    =   (Prophet Samuel a.s. prayed to God that they, the Jews be given a king. God Revealed that their king was Tolut/Saul. Then Prophet Samuel a.s. brought Saul to meet the Jewish Chiefs and proclaimed him / Saul as their king, he a.s. said, "O Israelites! Really Yehweh Have sent Saul as your King.".). (to be continued).
