Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(80) وَقَالُواْ لَن تَمَسَّنَا اُلنَّارُ إِلَّاآأَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَةً ج قُلْ أَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِندَ اُللهِ عَهْدًا فَلَن يَخْلِفَ اُللهُ عَهْدَهُو~ صلى أَمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اُللهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
وَقَالُواْ لَن تَمَسَّنَا اُلنَّارُإِلَّآ أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَةً = "Wa Qo~lu~ Lant~Ta-mas-sa Nan~Na~ru Il=la~~ Ay-ya~mam~Maa-du~dah",  "Wa Qo~lu~" = And they say, "Lan" = will not , "Ta-mas-sa" = to be touched, "Na~" = we, "an~Na~ru" = the Fire, "Il-la~" = except, but, "Ai-ya~man" = days, "Maa-du~da-tan" = a number, a few.
"Wa Qo~lu~ Lant~Ta-mas-sa Nan~Na~ru Il-la~~ Ai-ya~mam~Maa-du~dah". = And they/the Children of Israel say, "The Fire (of Hell) will not touch us but for only a number of/few days".
ج = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
"Qul" = Say, "At-Ta-khodz" = have you taken/made, "Tum" = all of you, " 'Ind~da" = from, "Al-Lohi" = Allah, " 'Ah-dan" = fulfillment of a promise, "Fa" = then, "Lan" = will not, "Yukh-li-fa" = He violets, breaks, "Al-Lohu" = Allah, " 'Ah-da" = promise, "Hu~" = His.
"Qul At-Ta-khodz Tum 'Ind~dal-Lohi 'Ah-danf~Fa Lay~Yukh-li-fal-Lohu 'Ah-dah". = Say (O Muhammad to them), "Have all of you taken/made a promise from Allah? Then/For Allah never violets/breaks His promise.
صلى =  a Waqof Jaiz sign.
"Am" = Or, "Ta-qu~lu~na" = all of you say, " 'A-la~" = on, of, "Al-Lohi" = Allah, "Ma~" = what, "La~" = not, "Taa-la-mu~na" = all of you know.
"Am Ta-qu~lu~na 'A-lal-Lohi Ma~ La~ Taa-la-mu~~n".  "Or (is it that) you say of Allah, what/things that all of you do not know?".
(The Children of Israel thought that they would not be punished in the Fiery Hell long, but only for a few says. And Allah denies what they have claimed because Allah did not promise them that and what they said was only a fabrication/lie they made about Allah.).
(81) (to be continued).
                                 oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
  (2) Solat: The Ritual Of Solat, Both the Fardhu and The Sunnah:
Things that a Muadzdzin should observe:
It is Sunnah that a Muadzdzin observes these  (briefly):
  (i) Has the hope for Allah's pleasure when Adzan.
(ii) Should be clean in body and clothing.
(iii) Stands and faces towards the Qiblat
(iv) When exclaiming "Haiya 'Alash-Sholah 2 x", should turn his face to his  right, and when exclaiming, "Haiya 'Alal-Falah 2 x", should turn his face to his left. These are done so that people on his right side and his left side can hear his call. This is done when he is on the minaret. If he made the Adzan to a mike, he need not turn his face.
  (v) To insert his index fingers in his ears, like Bilal did when he Adzan.
(vi) To Adzan loudly and forcefully.
(vii) To exclaim the verses of Adzan calmly, slowly and lengthy.
(But in Qomat, they should be uttered quickly).
(viii) Do not chit-chat while Adzan, thought it is permissible.
After the Adzan, the Qomat and the Doa are made, stand facing the Qiblat to perform the Solat: (to be continued).
Until we meet in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.

Recitation 229

Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam).
فَوَيْلٌ لِلَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُونَ اُلْكِتَبَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ = "Fa Wai-lul-Lil-La-dzi~na Yak-tu-bu~nal-Ki-ta~ba Bi Ai-di~ Him",  "Fa Wai-lun" = Then woe/the Fiery Hell called "Wailun", "Li" = to, "al-La-dzi~na" = those who, "Yak-tu-bu~na" = they write, "al-Ki-ta~ba" = the Scripture, "Bi" = with, "Ai-di~" = hands, "Him" = their,
ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ هَذَا مِنْ عِندِ اُللهِ = "THum~ma Ya-qu~lu~na Ha~dza~ Min 'Ind~dil-Lahi",  "THum~ma" = then, "Ya-qu~lu~na" = they say, "Ha~dza~" = this is, "Min" = from, " 'Ind~di" = by (Min 'Ind~di = from), "Al-Lahi" = Allah,
لَيَشْتَرُواْ بِهِى ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا = "Li Yasy-ta-ru~ Bi Hi~ THa-ma-nanq~Qo-li~la~".  "Li" = to, "Yasy-ta-ru~" = to bring upon, to earn, to gain, "Bi Hi~" = with it, "THa-ma-nan" = price, "Qo-li~lan" = a little, a few.
"Fa Wai-lul-Lil-La-dzi~na Yak-tu-bu~nal-Ki-ta~ba Bi Ai-di~ Him Thum~ma Ya-qu~lu~na Ha~dza~ Min 'Ind~dil-Lahi Li Yasy-ta-ru~ Bi Hi~ THa-ma-nanq~Qo-li~la~".  = And woe/Hell called Wailun to those who wrote the Scripture with their hands and then said/claimed, "This is from Allah" to earn a few some of money.
صلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
فَوَيْلٌ لَّهُم مِّمَّا كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِهِمْ = "Fa Wai-lul-La Hum~Mim~ma~ Ka-ta-bat Ai-di~ Him",  "Fa" = Then, "Wai-lun" = woe/Hell called Wailun, "La Hum" = to them, "Mim~ma~" = for what, "Ka-ta-bat" = they write, "Ai-di~" = hands, "Him" = their,
Wa Wai-lul-La Hum~Mim~ma~ Yak-si-bu~~n".  "Wa Wai-lun" = and woe/Wailun, "La Hum" = to them, "Mim~ma~" = for what, "Yak-si-bu~na" = they obtain, earn.
"Fa Wai-lul-La Hum~Mim~ma~ Ka-ta-bat Ai-di~ Him Wa Wai-lul-La Hum~Mim~ma~ Yak-si-bu~~n".  = Then woe/Wailun to them for what they wrote with their hands. And (again) woe/Wailun to them for what they earned (from their writing).
(People who dare to explain/to say, either by words of mouth or in writing about something which is not from Allah, and say, "This is from Allah", and contrarywise, a thing that is clearly from Allah, is said, "That is not from Allah" so that they could earn some money by saying that, and also those who give support and help them in these matters,  will be punished in the Fiery Hell called "Wai-lun").
(80) (to be continued).
                                  oooo000oooo
Let us continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
Before we look into what the Muadzdzin should observe, let us first look at what "Fadilah"/excellence of the Doa made after Adzan:
The moment/time between the Adzan and the Qomat, is a moment when a Doa is consented:
From Anas that the Prophet s.a.w. said, "The Doa made between the Adzan and the Qomat is not rejected". (narrated by Abu Daud and Nasa-i and Tirmidzi said it is a good and authentic Hadith. Then he added, "They asked, "O Prophet! What should we recite?" The Prophet s.a.w. replied, "Ask Allah for forgiveness and for the security and peace in this world and the next world".
And from Sahl ibnu Sa'ad who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "There are two things that are not rejected, that is (i) the Doa after Adzan and (ii) the Doa when in a hazardous time: when in the rage of a battle and stand face to face with the enemy". (narrated by Abu Daud with a good Isnad/base).
Things That A Muadzdzin Should Observe: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.

Dear Quran Lovers,
A report was broadcasted that a volcano in San Miguel, El Salvado is in eruption. Before loss of lives and properties occur, let us recite surah Yasin and Its Doa  so that the volcano will calm and cool down. Thank you all.
Let us continue to recite surah Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(78) وَمِنْهُمْ أُمِّيُّونَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ اُلْكِتَبَ إِلَّآأَمَانِىَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ
وَمِنْهُمْ أُمِّيُّونَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ اُلْكِتَبَ إِلَّآ أَمَانِىَّ = "Wa Min Hum Um~miy-yu~na La~ Yaa-la-mu~nal-Ki-ta~ba Il-la~~ A-ma~niy-ya",   "Wa Min Hum" = And from them, "Um~miy-yu~na" = illiterates, "La~" = not, "Yaa-la-mu~na" = they know, "al-Ki-ta~ba" = the Scripture, "Il-la~" = except, "A-ma~niy-ya" = lies,
Wa In Hum Il-la~ Ya-zhun~nu~~n".  "Wa In" = and in fact, "Hum" = they, "Il-la~" = except, "Ya-zhun~nu~na" = suspicious.
"Wa Min Hum Um~miy-yu~na La~ Yaa-la-mu~nal-Ki-ta~ba Il-la~~ A-ma~niy-ya Wa In Hum Il-la~ Ya-zhun~nu~~n". = And some of them/the Children of Israel are illiterates who do not know the (content of) the Scripture except lies, or made up stories, or tall tales (about the teaching of the Torah from many irresponsible people who like to propagate unkind teaching). And in fact they (those who could read the Torah, could not understand the verses clearly, and that made them) have suspicion (about the facts they had read whether or not they are practicable).
[This does not happen only to the Children of Israel, but also to us, the Muslim comunity].
(79) (to be continued).
                                   oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
   (2) Solat: The Ritual Of Solat, Both the Fardhu and the Sunnah:
The Disturbance Created by the Satan When One Performs Solat:
From Abi Huroiroh r.a. who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "When any one of you stands and wants to perform Solat, the Satan will surely approach you and makes you worry (about something) that you do not know how many Rokaat you have done. So, if that happens, you should Sujud Sahwi twice and sit". (In the Sujud, recite: "Sub-ha~nal-La-dzi~ La~ Ya-na~mu Wa La~ Yas-hu~" = (Glory be to Him who does not sleep nor forgetful). (narrated by Muslim).
From Abdullah ibnu 'Umar, who said, "That the Prophet s.a.w. had done Sujud Sahwi twice after he s.a.w. made Salam and talked to people." (narrated by Muslim).
Dzikr When Qomat: It is Sunnah on the people when hearing the Qomat to repeat verses uttered by the Muadz-dzin, except when he says, "Haiya 'Alash-Sholah" and "Haiya 'A-lal-Falah", they should say, "La~ Haw-la Wa La~ Quw-wa-ta Il-la Bil-Lah", and when the Muadzdzin uttered, "Qodd Qo~ma-tish-Shola~h" = (Perform the Solat now!), they should say, "A-qo~ma Hal-Lohu Wa A-da~ma Ha~" = (Allah sets it/the Solat up and makes it permanent).
From some of the companions r.a. of the Prophet s.a.w. who said, "When Bilal uttered Qomat, and when he r.a. said, "Qodd Qo~matish-Shola~h" = (Perform the Solat now!), the Prophet s.a.w. said, "A-qo~ma Hal-Lohu Wa A-da~ma Ha~" = ( Allah sets it/the Solat up and makes it permanent). And when he r.a. uttered "Haiya 'A-lash-Shola~h, Haiya 'A-lal-Fala~h", he s.a.w. said, "La~ Haw-la Wa La~ Quw-wa-ta Il-la~ Bil-Lah" = (There is neither might nor power but in Allah).
It is best for the Muadzdzin to utter the Qomat. Asy-Syafiei said, "When a man Adzan, I prefer him to utter the Qomat".
And Tirmidzi said, "About this issue, according to most people, he who Adzan, should Qomat".
But it is permissible for other person to Qomat.
Ladies, when they are among themselves, may Adzan and Qomat:
From Aisyah r.a.: "That she r.a. usually Adzan, Qomat and led the womenfolk, as an Imam in Solat, and stood among them." (narrated by Baihaqi).
Things that a Muadzdzin should observe: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers soon.

Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(77) أَوَلَا يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ اُللهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
اَوَلَا يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ اُللهَ يَعْلَمُ = "A Wa La~ Yaa-la-mu~na An~nal-Loha Yaa-la-mu",  "A" = Do, are. "Wa" = and, "La~" = not, "Yaa-la-mu~na" = they know, "An~na" = that, "Al-Loha" = Allah, "Yaa-la-mu" = know,
Ma~ Yu-sir-ru~na Wa Ma~ Yuu-li-nu~~n".  "Ma~" = what, "Yu-sir-ru~na" = they conceal, hide, "Wa Ma~" = and what, "Yuu-li-nu~na" = they reveal.
"A Wa La~ Yaa-la-mu~na An~nal-Loha Yaa-la-mu Ma~ Yu-sir-ru~na Wa Ma~ Yuu-li-nu~~n". = Do they not know that Allah knows of what they conceal/hide and of what they reveal?".
(When the Children of Israel were with their own people, they lamented their regret that some of them revealed the truth about the Prophet s.a.w. to the Believers who would use the information to argue with them before Allah in the Judgment Day, Allah says, in this verse, that the Children of Israel did/do not know nor believe that Allah Knows all and Hears all).
(78) (to be continued).
                                   =====*****=====
[ To those who practise "pluralism"/believing in many Religions, such believing in Allah and the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. and at the same time believe in their original religion/s, I have these to remind all of you: (i) Allah says in surah Al-Baqoroh verse 170, "When it is said to them: "Follow what Allah has revealed (in the Quran and through Prophet Muhammad's s.a.w. Sunnah), they say, "No! We shall follow which our fathers practised", even though their fathers were totally ignorant of true Religious teachings and were lack of guidance (of Allah).". (ii) In surah 112, verses 1 - 4, "Say: He is Alloh/The God, the One and Only. (2) Allah, the eternally Besought by all. (3) He begets none nor was He begotten. (4) And there is none equal nor comparable to Him.". (iii) In surah 18 Kah-fi, verse 29, "Say: This is the truth from your Lord/ Allah. Let him who will believe in It, and let him who will deny It. For the "Zholimin"/ wrongdoers (who deny It), We/Allah have prepare a Fire which will enclose them like the walls of a tent (in the Hereafter)".
                                 oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
  (2) Solat: The Ritual of Solat, Both the Fardhu and the Sunnah:
When the Prophet s.a.w. heard the Adzan, he s.a.w. would usually came to the mosque.
A Hadith from Abdullah ibnu Umar who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. saw a phlegm on the wall of the mosque in the direction of the Qiblat. He s.a.w. then scraped it off, and turned facing the people and said, "When anyone of you perform Solat, never spit (your sputum) to the front of you, because Allah presents in front of you when you Solat". (narrated by Muslim). [This Hadith proves what some non-Muslim who say that Muslim pray to the wall are wrong. When we perform Solat, Allah, who is unseen by all, is in front of us. We are talking, bowing/Rukuu, Sujud/prostrating and entreating Doa to Allah Himself. He is just right in front of us and is not far,far away in the topmost heaven, as claimed by those who do not know.].
From Musa ibnu Tolhah, from his father who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "When a person has planted a stick with the length of about 30 cm/one foot, then he can perform Solat (facing it) without caring/worrying about people walk pass behind the stick (that is not between the stick and the person performing Solat)." (narrated by Muslim).
From Abu Said Al-Khudri who  said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "When one of you performing Solat, do not let people pass in front of you. If there were a person passing in front of you, you must prevent him the best you could from passing in front of you. If he still insisted, hit him because the person is the same as the Syaiton/ Satan". (narrated by Muslim).
From Abi Juhaim, who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "If the person who pass a person who is performing Solat knows his sin (for passing infront of person/s who is/are performing Solat), he will prefer to stand and wait for the person to finish the Solat, for forty years". (narrated by Muslim). [Photographers who take pictures of people performing Solat, expecially when they perform Rukuu and Sujud, and there is no at least a one foot barrier between them and the people performing Solat, should take notice of these Hadith].
The Disturbance Created By The Satan When One Performs Solat: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.

But when they are alone with one another, they (lamented, expressing their regret,) saying, "Why did you tell them/the Believers (things) that Allah has opened/revealed to you  (about the Torah explaining the look, the nature , the character and the disposition of Muhammad and that what he brings are correct and true)? Because they/the Believers will use it as an argument and will defeat you before your Lord in the Hereafter".
ج = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
A Fa La~ Taa-qi-lu~~n".  "A Fa La~" = Have not, "Taa-qi-lu~na" = your sense.
"A Fa La~ Taa-qi-lu~~n" = Do all of you not have any sense/
do you not think about it first, before telling them about that?"
(77) (to be continued).
[ It is found that there are non-Muslim, who have misunderstood our verses of the Quran. One cannot believe in Allah and Muhammad s.a.w. as Messenger of Allah and at the same time is still believe in one's original Religion, be it Buddhism or Christianity or whatever, because your respective Doctine is Polytheism, or Trinity, while Allah commanded the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. to teach mankind to belive in One God or the Unity of God. If you good people discard the Doctine of Trinity or Polytheism, then, you are a true Believer in Allah, His Messenger, Muhammad s.a.w. and the Hereafter. May Allah guides us all to the Straight Path. Ami~n].

Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
  (2) Solat: The Ritual Of Solat, Both the Fardhu and the Sunnah:
From Jabir that the Prophet s.a.w. said, "Those whosoever recite after the Adzan/call to Solat :"AlLohum~ma Rob-ba Ha~dzi- hid-Daa-wa-tit-Ta~~~m-mah" = (O Allah! Lord of this plenary/ complete call), "Wash-Sho-la~til-Qo~i-mah" = ( and the Solat which will be performed), "A~ti Muhammadanil Wa-shi~la-ta Wal-Fa-dhi~lah" = (Grant Muhammad with Your help and with excellence), "Wab-'ath Hu Ma-qo~mam~Mah-mu~da~" = (And give rise to him to a commendable rank), "Al-La-dzi~ Wa-'at-tah" = ( which You have promised)".  They will definitely earn  my Syafaat/ intercession in the Hereafter/the Judgment Day, the crossing of the Shirot/from being punished in the Fiery Hell".   Those who hear the Adzan and Qomat, it is Sunnah on them to recite these Dzikr:

Allohu Akbar!", the listeners will repeat, "Al-Lohu Akbar, Allohu Akbar" softly, and so forth, except when he exclaimed, "Hai-ya 'A-lash-Shola~h", and "Hai-ya 'Alal-Fa-la~h", the listeners will recite, "La~ Haw-la Wa La~ Quw-wa-ta Il-la~ Bil-La~h" = (There is neither might nor power but in Allah).
From Umar: "That the Prophet s.a.w. said, "When the Muadz-dzin exclaimed, "Allohu Akbar! Allohu Akbar!" and anyone of you says, "Allohu Akbar, Allohu Akbar". When he exclaimed, "Asyhadu Alla~ Ila~ha Il-lal-Lo~h", and you also say, "Asyhadu Alla~ Ila~ha Il-lalLoh".

Dear Quran Lovers,
I have just heard the noon news that the Israel government had made 16 air attacks on Gaza strip killing 10 including children and wounding many. Let us all recite surah Yasi~n and Its Doa that Allah will punish them accordingly. Thank you.
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
"THum~ma" = Then, "Qo-sat" = to be hard, "Qu-lu~bu" = hearts, "Kum" = all of your, "Min" = from, "Baa-di" = after, "DZa~li-ka" = that, "Fa" = then, "Hi-ya" = she, it, "Ka" = like, "al-Hi-ja~ro-ti" = the rock, "Aw" = or, "A-syad-du" = more, worse, "Qos-wa-tan" = be hard.
"THum~ma Qo-sat Qu-lu~bu Kum~Mim~Baa-di DZa~li-ka Fa Hi-ya Kal-Hi-ja~ro-ti Aw A-syad-du Qos-wah". = Then after the incident (slaughtering of the cow to find out the real killer) your hearts (O Children of Israel) became (hard) like that of a rock, or even harder than a rock.
ج = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَإِنَّ مِنَ اُلْحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ اُلْأَنْهَرُ = "Wa In~na Mi-nal-Hi-ja~ro-ti La Ma~ Ya-ta-faj-ja-ru Min Hul-An-Ha~~rr". "Wa" = And, "In~na" = really, "Mi-na" = from, "al-Hi-ja~ro-ti" = the rock, "La Ma~" = for which, "Ya-ta-faj-ja-ru" = to gush out, "Min Hu" = from it, "al-An-ha~ru" = the rivers.
"Wa In~na Mi-nal-Hi-ja~ro-ti La Ma~ Ya-ta-faj-ja-ru Min Hul-An-ha~~rr" = For really, from the rock, rivers gush out.
ج = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَشَّقَّقُ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ اُلْمَآءُ = "Wa In~na Min Ha~ La Ma~ Yasy-syaq-qo-qu Fa Yakh-ru-ju Min Hul-Ma~~a". "Wa In~na" = And in deed, "Min Ha~" = from her, it, "La Ma~" = for which, "Yasy-syaq-qo-qu" = it cracks, "Fa" = then, "Yakh-ru-ju" = come out, flow out, "Min Hu" = from it, "al-Ma~~u" = the water.
"Wa In~na Min Ha~ La Ma~ Yasy-syaq-qo-qu Fa Yakh-ru-ju  Min Hul-Ma~~a". =  And in deed, from it (there are rocks) which crack apart that water flows out from them.
ج = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَهْبِطُ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اُللهِ = "Wa In~na Min Ha~ La Ma~ Yah-bi-tu Min KHosy-ya-til-Lahi".  "Wa In~na" = And truly, "Min Ha~" = from her, it, "La Ma~" = for which, "Yah-bi-tu" = collapse, fall down, "Min" = from, for, "KHosy-ya-ti" = fear of, "Al-Lahi" = Allah.
"Wa In~na Min Ha~ La Ma~ Yah-bi-tu Min KHosy-ya-til-Lah". = And truly, from it (there are) rocks which fall down for fear of Allah.
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَمَا اُللهُ بِغَفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ = "Wa Mal-Lohu B GHo~fi-lin 'Am~ma~ Taa-ma-lu~~n". "Wa Ma~" And not, "Al-Lohu" = Allah, "Bi" = to be, "GHo~fi-lin" = inattentive, " 'Am-ma~" = of what, "Taa-ma-lu~na" = all of you do.
"Wa Mal-Lohu Bi GHo~fi-lin 'Am~ma~ Taa-ma-lu~~n".  = And Allah is not inattentive of what all of you do.
(Allah refers the Jews during the Prophet's s.a.w. time as obstinate people with hearts as hard as that of a rock or even harder. Even though the rocks are hard, they are defeated by water. When water flows through a rock, it would become a river gushing out of the rock. Even though the rock is hard, it would collapse for fear of Allah. But the hearts of the Jews are even harder, they do not fear Allah. [I believe, not only many of the Jews do not fear Allah, but many of us, Children of Adam are also do not fear Allah].

Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
  (2) Solat: (B) The Sunnah/optional In A Solat:
Before we look into the Dzikr and the Doa after performing a Solat, let us go through the whole Ritual of Solat, both the Fardhu and the Sunnah.
 (i) When the Time of Solat has come, it is Sunnah for a Muslim to call out the "A-dzan"/call to Solat. A Hadith from Abu Dardaa, who said, "I heard the Prophet s.a.w. said, "When three (or more) persons perform Solat without A-dzan/call to Solat and Qo~mat/to rise to Solat, they will be overcome/possessed by the Satan". (narrated by Ahmad).
The A-dzan was first decreed in the First year of Hegira. From Nafii that Ibnu 'Umar said, " When the Muslim were gathering and were calculating the Time of Solat but there was no one who called to it. Then, one day, they had a discussion about it. Some said to use a bell like the Christians did. Some said to blow a horn like the Jews did. Then 'Umar r.a. said, "Why not ask someone to call out to Solat?". The Prophet s.a.w. said, "O Bilal! Rise!". Bilal ibnu Robbah stood up and called out the "Adzan". (narrated by Ahmad and Bukhori).
Abdullah ibnu Zaid ibnu Abdi Robbih said, " When the Prophet s.a.w. asked to prepare a bell for calling people to Solat, but he s.a.w. did not like the idea because it was the same as the Christians, I/Abdullah fell a sleep and had a dream that I was surrounded by a man carrying a bell in his hands. I asked the man if he would sell the bell to me. The man asked me why would I want the bell. I replied, "To call people to Solat". The man said, "Would you like me to show you a better way to call people to Solat?" I said, "Yes, please.". The man said, "Call out: (i) Al-lohu Akbar, Allohu Akbar, and repeat. (ii) Asy-hadu Al-La~ Ila~ha Il-Lal-Loh and repeat (iii) Asyhadu An~na Muham~madar-Rosu~lul-Loh (2 x), (iv) Hai-ya 'Alash-Sholah = Come to Solat (2 x), (v) Hai-ya 'A-lal-Falah = Come to Success (2 x), (vi) Allohu Akbar, Allohu Akbar, (vii) La~ I-la~ha Il-lal-Loh (1 x)".
Then the man took a step backward and said, "When you want to perform the Solat, say, "(i) Allohu Akbar, Allohu Akbar. (ii) Asy-hadu Al-la~ Ila~ha Il-lal-Loh. (iii) Asyhadu An~na Muham~madar-Rosu~lul-Loh. (iv) Hai-ya 'Alash-Sholah. (v) Haiya 'Alal-Falah. (vi) Qodd Qo~matish-Shola~h, Qodd Qo~matish-Shola~h = (Now, to perform the Solat = 2 x), (vii) Allohu Akbar, Allohu Akbar (viii) La~ Ila~ha Il-lal-Loh".
And when it was morning, I went to the Prophet s.a.w. and told him s.a.w. of my dream. The Prophet s.a.w. said, "Insya Allah = Allah willing, truly it was a true dream. Go and stand by Bilal and teach him what you have heard so that he can make the call. His voice is better and louder than yours." Then I stood beside Bilal and he called out the verses that I told him. His call was heard by 'Umar who was in his house. He came out with his clothe dangling behind him. He said, "By Allah who sent you with the Truth, I had the same dream as you had." Then the Prophet s.a.w. said, "Then, Allah be praised". (narrated by Ahmad, Abu Duad, Ibnu Majah, Ibnu Khuzaimah and Tirmidzi who said that this Hadith is good and authentic).
The Dzikr to uttered by those who hear the Adzan and the Qomat: (to be continued).
