أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite verse No. 255. Please refer to the Text :
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
اللهُ لَا~إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَىُّ الْقَيُّومُ ج  لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ج
=  "Al-Lohu La~~I-la~ha Il-la~ Hu-wal-Hai-yul-Qoi-yu~~~m". (J)
 "La~ Taa-khu-dzu Hu~ Si-na-tuw~Wa La~ Nau~~~m".
"Al-Lohu" (a Lafzhul-Jalalah, the second Lam is Tafkhim) = The God,  "La~" (after it is a standing Hamzah in the next word, is a Mad Jaiz Mumfashil, to 2 or 4 or 6 harakah, "La~~") = no,  "I-la~ha" (a Mad Ashli) = God,  "Il-la~" (a Mad Ashli) = except,  "Hu-wa" (after the above sign Waw is an Alif Lam Qomariyah, "-wal-") = him,  "Hai-yu" (a Mad Lin. After the front sign Ya is an Alif Lam Qomariyah, "-yul-") = The Living,  "Al-Qoi-yu~mu" ( a Mad Lin. We pause at the Mad ashli, becomes a Mad 'Aridh Lis-Sukun, to 2 or 4 or 6 harakah, "-yu~~~m" = The Self-subsisting Eternal One,  ج = a Waqod Jaiz sign.   "La~" (a Mad Ashli) = not,  "Taa-khu-dzu" = over take,  "Hu~" (with a tiny Waw, is a Mad Shilah Qoshiroh) = him,  "Si-na-tun" (after the Tanwin Ta Marbutah is a Waw is an Idghom Maal-Ghunnah, "-tuw~") =  sleepiness,  "Wa" = and,  "La~" (a Mad Ashli) = no,  "Nau-mun" (a Mad Lin. We pause at this Mad Lin, to 2 or 4 or 6 harakah. {It is a Mad Lin as told by the Far Eastern Islamic University graduates. But what yours truly learnt in the Religious school, it is a Mad 'Aridh Lis-Sukun, "Nau~~~m}) =  sleep.
=  "Allah, there is no God except Him, (who is) The Living, The Self-subsisting Eternal One. He is not overtaken by sleepiness nor (by) sleep.".    =   (This verse No. 255 is called, "Ayatul-Kursi". The Prophet s.a.w. said, as reported by Abu Haroirah r.a. "It is the most eminent verse in the Quran, and It is also The "Chief/Most Important" of all verses in the Quran. ".  Al-Bai-dhowi reported that the Prophet s.a.w. said, "Truly, the greatest verse in the Quran is the Ayatul-Kursi. Whoever recites It, Allah will send forth Angels to record his/her goodness and erase his/her sin from the moment he/she recites It until the next day.".  This verse means that Allah is The God, there is no other true God rightfully be worshipped except Him and Him alone. He is Alive and Self-subsisting Eternal One. {We have known that "I-lah"= Allah, is one of God's Names, Ar-Rohman = TheMost Compassinate, Ar-Rohim = The Most Merciful, As-Salam = The Peace, are also His Glorious Names, and not forgetting, Al-Hai = The Living, and Al-Qoi-yum = The Self-subsisting Eternal One are also another 2 of His Glorious Names. and if mankind want to use God's Name, they are obligated to use a prefix, that is the word "'Abdu" = bond servant of. Your truly is Abdu Al-Hami~d / Abdul Hamid. If the prefix were not used before God's Name, is a sin. But if only Hamid is used, is not a sin because it means praisworthy. It is a sin if we used Al-Hamid = The Praiseworthy, without the prefix Abdu. "O Allah! Please bear witness that I have told people about it." (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see all of You Quran Lovers soon.
Wassalamu alaikum w. w.
Abdul Hamid Mohd Yusof Ali.
