Recitation No. 403

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركلته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
To know more about the "Iddah", please refer to the Book of Fiqh / Islamic Law. It is a lengthy subject to be discussed here.
Let us continue to recite the surah 2 Al-Baqoroh, verse 242. Please refer to the Text :
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
كَذَالِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَاتِهِى لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
(242)  {o}
= "Ka-dza~li-ka Yu-bai-yi-nul-Lohu La Kum A~ya~ti Hi~ La-'al-la Kum Ta'a-qi-lu~~~n".
"Ka-dza~li-ka" (a Mad Ashli, 2 harakah) = Thus
"Yu-bai-yi-nu" (a Mad Lin/softness and without emphasis, "bai". After the Nun with front sign is an  Alif Lam Syamsiyah / The Sun Definite Article, the Alif Lam is not pronounced but the second Lam is, "-nul-") = He Make clear
"(Al)-Lohu" (a Laf-zhul-Jalalah / a Word of Loftiness, the Lam is a Taf-khim, is emphasized vigourously) = The (One and Only) God
"La" = to
"Kum" (after the silent Mim is a Hamzah, is an Izh-har Syafawi / Oral expressing clearly the silent Mim) = you (pl.)
"A~ya~ti" (2 Mad Ashli, both to 2 harakah) = signs, tokens
"Hi~" (after the "He" is a tiny "Ya" denotes it is a Mad Shilah Qosiroh / minor connecting, to 2 harakah) = His
"La-'al-la" = perhaps, so that
"Kum" (after the silent Mim is a "Ta", is an Izh-har Syafawi, same as above) = you (pl.)
"Ta'a-qi-lu~na" (we stop at this Mad Ashli, becomes a Mad 'Aridh Lis-Sukun / Transitory to cease, to 2 or 4 or 6 harakah, "-lu~~~n") = you (pl,) understand.
(242) = Numbers in an Adorned Circle sign denotes the end of  the verse and the numbers are its number.
{o}  = An Eight Angles Star sign denotes the beginning of a section.
= " Thus Allah Make clear to all of you His signs and tokens / Commandment so that you (pl.) would understand ".
 =  (Allah Give all Commandments clearly about the obligations of a husband to his wife in His Holy Book, the Quran, through His Messenger and Prophet, Muhammad s.a.w. so that all of us will take notice and understand).
(to be continued).
Insya Allah we will meet again in the next session, see all of You Quran Lovers later.
Wassalamu alaikum w. w.
 Abdul Hamid Mohd Yusof Ali.
