Recitation No. 415

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to look into the incident when Saul went to Prophet Samuel's a.s. house and the oil in the horn boiled up :
(When Prophet Samuel a.s. received the Revelation from God about the future chosen king, he a.s. was provided with a wooden staff and a horn filled with oil by God through the Archangel, Gabriel a.s.. If a man entering his a.s. house and the oil in the horn boils up, that is the sign that he is the chosen king. And when Tolut / Saul entered his a.s. house, the oil in the horn boiled up. He, Saul is the chosen king.
When Prophet Samuel a.s. saw the oil was boiling up, he a.s. took the wooden staff and sized it up to Saul and saw that the staff and Saul were of the same height/length. And after looking into many other indications and signs in Saul, the Prophet a.s. was convinced that he/Saul was the promised future king of the Israelites. He a.s. then applied the oil in the horn onto Saul's head. After that, he a.s. took Saul to meet the Jewish Chiefs in front of a crowd of people, and proclaimed Saul as their new King. But the Chiefs refused to accept Saul as their king because he wa not wealthy nor of a high-born.
Tolut/Saul was not indeed a wealthy nor of a hight-born person but was only a tanner who tanned hide into leader using "tannin" liquid, and he also fed water to the donkeys. He was not a descendant of a king, but he was bestowed by God/Yehweh with very profound Knowledge in the administration of a country, in war tactics and so on, and also was given a very strong and powerful body.).
Let us now continue to recite verse 247. Please refer to the Text :
