Recitation No. 401

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
In verse 240, the " 'Iddah/Waiting period"for a widow is Twelve months, but this Commandment is annulled / cancelled by the Commandment in this surah in verse 234, "The 'Iddah" is 4 month and 10 days (= 128 days) and it is still stand.
Let us continue to recite verse 241, please refer to the Text :
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
وَلِلْمُطَلَّقَاتِ مَتَاعُم بِالْمَعْرُوفٍ  صلى
= "Wa Lil-Mu-tol-la-qo~ti Ma-ta~'um~Bil-Ma'a-ru~~~f".
"Wa" = and
"Li" (after it, is an Alif Lam Qomariah / the Moon Definite Article, the silent Lam is pronounced, "Lil-") = for
"(A)l-Mu-tol-la-qo~ti" (in some Text, there is a tiny Alif after the Qof with above sign, is a Mad Ashli, 2 Harakah) = the divorcee
"Ma-ta~'un" (a Mad Ashli, 2 harakah. After the " 'Ain" with front sign is a tiny Mim because there is a "Ba" in the next word denotes it is an Iq-lab / Changing the Tanwin 'Ain into "Ba" and with a humming sound of the nasal to 2 harakah, "-'um~") = enjoyment
"Bi" (after it, is an Alif Lam Qomariyah, same as above, "Bil-") = with
"(A)l-Ma'a-ru~fi" (we are pausing on this Mad ashli, becomes a Mad 'Aridh Lis-Sukun / Transitory to cease, to 2 or 4 or 6 harakah, "-ru~~~f") = the kindness.
سلى  = a Waqof Jaiz Maa Kaun Al-Washol Awla sign denotes pausing is permitted but Washol / not pausing is preferred.
 = " And for the divorcee (are to receive) enjoyment/ "Muta'ah"/compensation in kindness / accordingly".
 =  (The divorced women whether not they had sex with the husbands before being divorced are to be paid "Muta'ah" by the men accordingly).
 حَقًّا عَلَى الْمُتَّقِينَ

 =  "Haq-qon 'A-lal-Mut-ta-qi~~~n." 
"Haq-qon" (after the Tanwin Qof is an " 'Ain", is an Izh-har Hal-qi / Expressing clearly the Tanwin Qof) = an obligation 
" 'A-la~" (after the Lam with above sign is an Alif Lam Qomariyah, same as above, "-lal-") = on, to
"(A)l-Mut-ta-qi~na" (we stop at this Mad Asli, it becomes a Mad 'Aridh Lis-Sukun, as above, "-qi~~~n") = the God-fearing, the pois, the devoted.
(241)  =  Numbers in an Adorned Circle sign denotes the end of a verse and the number is its number.
 =  " It is an obligation to the God-fearings / Pious / Devoted."
