ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite verse 246. Please refer to the Text :
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقِتَالُ تَوَلَّوْاْ إِلَّا  قَلِيلًا مّْنْهُمْ  قلى
=  "Fa Lam~ma~ Ku-ti-ba 'A-lai Hi-mul-Qi-ta~lu Ya-wal-lau Il-la~ Qo-li~lam~Min Hum.".
"Fa" = then,  "Lam~ma~" (a Shaddah Mim is a Wajibul-Ghunnah, 2 harakah. A Mad Ashli) = after, when,   ":Ku-ti-ba" = is obligated
" 'A-lai" (a Mad Lin, soft, half emphatic) = on, upon,  "Hi-mu" (after the front sign Mim is an Alif Lam Qomariyah/the Moon Definite Article, the Lam is pronounced, "-mul-") = them
"Al-Qi-ta~lu"  (a Mad Ashli) = the fight/ the struggle/ the hard work
"Ta-wal-lau" (a Mad Lin, same as above) = they wail,  "Il-la~" (a Mad Ashli) = except,  "Qo-li~lan" (after the Tanwin Lam is a "Mim" is an Idghom Maal-Ghunnah / Assimilating the Tanwin Lam into the Mim with a humming sound of the nasal 2 harakah, "-lam~"
= few,  "Min" (after the silent Nun is a "He" is an Izh-har Halqi/ expressing clearly the silent Nun) = of,  "Hum" = them.
قلى  = a pause is permitted and it is preferred sign.
=  "But, when they / the Jews were lain under the obligation to fight, they wailed, except for a few of them".     =  (Then when God Commanded the Jews to fight King Saul and his people, they refused and turned away from fighting except for a few of them).
وَاللهُ عَلِمُم بِالظَالِمِينَ
(246)
=  "Wal-Lohu 'A-li~mum~Bizh-Zho~li-mi~~~n".
"Wa" (after it, is an Alif Lam Syamsiyah, same as above, "Wal-") = and, for,  "Al-Lohu" (a Lafzhul-Jalalah. The second Lam is a Taf-khim) = The (One and Only) God,  " 'A-li~mun" (a Mad Ashli. After the front sign Mim, is a tiny Mim replacing the Syaddah denotes an Iqlab / changing the the Tanwin Mim to "Ba", "-mum~B") = all-Knowing,  "Bi" (after it, is an Alif Lam Syamsiyah, "-Bizh-") = of,  "Azh-Zho~li-mi~na" ( a Mad Ashli. We stop at the second Mad Ashli, becomes a Mad 'Aridh Lis-Sukun, to 2 or 4 or 6 harakah, "-mi~~~n") = the unjust, the cruel.
  " And/For Allah is all-Knowing of those who are unjust, who are cruel".        =   (Allah Know the disposition of those who disobey His Commandment, such people are cruel.).
(246) = an end of the verse and the numbers are it number sign.
