Recitation No. 441

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us contine to recite verse 259. Please refer to the Text :
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
أَوْ كَالَّذِى مَرَّ عَلَى قَرْيَةٍ وَهِىَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَى عُرُوشِهَا قَالَ أَنَّى يُحْىِى هَذَهِ اللهُ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا صلى 
= "Aw Kal-La-dzi~ Mar-ro 'A-la~ Qor-ya-tiw~Wa Hi-ya Kho~wi-ya-tun 'A-la~ 'U-ru~syi Ha~ Qo~la An~na~ Yuh-yi~ Ha~dzi-hil- Lahu Baa-da Mau-ti Ha~".
"Aw" = Or, "Ka" ("Kal-") = like,  "Al-La-dzi~) = who,  "Mar-ro" = to pass,  " 'A-la~" = by,  "Qor-ya-tin" (-tiw~") = country,  "Wa" = and,  "Hi-ya" = she, it,  "Kho~wi-ya-tun" = barren, ruins, " 'A-la~" = on,   " 'U-ru~syi" = trellis, lattice,  "Ha~" = her, it,  Qo~la" = he said,  "An~na~" = how,  "Yuh-yi~" = he revives, restores,  "Ha~dzi-hi" ("-hil-") = this (fem.),  "Al-Lahu" = The God,  "Baa-da" = after,  "Mau-ti" = perish, be destroyed,  "Ha~" = her, its.  صلى = a pause is permitted but not pause is preferred sign.
=  "Or like the (person) who had passed by a country where ruined (wall covered) on (the roof of) its lattice. He said, "How could The God revive these ruins after being destroyed, such as these?". 
=  (Allah is telling another incident to the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. about a man named 'Azir/Ezra or Uzair, and in another narration, he was Armia or Khodhir was passing by a place near Jerusalem which was destroyed by the Babylon King named Bakhtausir. Successions of misfortunes had befallen the Jews from time to time by Yahweh for their evil doings  and for being disloyal to Yahweh even though Yahweh was/is being kind, and had and is still bestowed them with bounties and prosperities. When 'Azir/Ezar passed by the country which was in a devastated condition, said, "I wonder how Allah/Yahweh would revive these ruins in this country as good as ever again".). (to be continued).
