Recitation No. 397

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Alhamdulillah, yours truly still have some free time. So, let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh verse 238. Please refer to the Text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
حَافِظُواْ عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَواةِ الْوُسْطَىا وَقُومُواْ لِلهِ قَانِتِينَ
(238)
=  "Ha~fi-zhu~ 'A-lash-Sho-la-wa~ti Wash-Sho-la~til-Wus-to~ Wa Qu~mu~ Lil-Lahi Qo~ni-ti~~~n".
"Ha~fi-zhu~" ( 2 Mad Ashli, both to 2 harakah) = you (pl.) preserve
" 'A-la~" (a Mad Ashli, 2 harakah. After it is an Alif Lam Syamsiah, the Alif Lam are not promounced, the "-la" is assimilated to the Syaddah Shod, "-lash-") = in
"(Ash-)Shola-wa~ti" (a Mad Ashli, 2 harakah) = the Prayer Rituals
"Wa" (after it, is an Alif Lam Symasiah, same as above, "-wash-") = and
"(Ash-)Sho-la~ti) (the Waw is with a tiny Alif denotes a Mad Ashli, "-la~" and it is not "-la-wa~". After the Ta Marbutah is an Alif Lam Qomariah, only the Lam is pronounced, "-til-") = the Prayer rite
"Al-Wus-to~" (the Ya without 2 dots below and with a tiny Alif denotes a Mad Ashli, 2 harakah) = the middle
"Wa" = and,  "Qu~mu~" (2 Mad Ashli, both to 2 harakah) = you (pl.) stand up
"Lil-Lahi" (the first "Lam" is with below sign, the second "Lam" is an Alif Lam Syamsiah, thus the third "Lam" is a Lam Tarqiq / soft and thinning out, "La") = because of The God
"Qo~ni-ti~n" (a Mad Ashli, 2 harakah. And we stop at "-ti~n" a Mad Ashli, then it becomes a Mad 'Aridh Lis-Sukun, 2 or 4 or 6 harakah, "-ti~~~n") = (with) devotation, engrossed in.
(237) = Numbers in an Adorned Circle sign denotes the end of the verse, and the numbers are its number.
=  "Preserve your "Sholat" / Prayer Rituals and (also preserve) your "Sholatul-Wus-to" / the Middle Prayer Rite, and stand up because of Allah / The God  with devotion."
= (Allah Command us to be steadfast and to maintain performing our 5 times a day and a night daily Sholat. And we are to be steadfast and maintain performing the "Sholatul-Wusto" / the Middle Prayer, i.e. the 'Ashar Prayer. {The Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. said, as reported by Imam Ahmad from Ali, "They / the unbelievers made you all busy that you had missed performing the Middle Prayer that is the 'Ashar Prayer. May Allah keep their hearts and homes from the (Hell) Fire". There are 4 other Hadith mentioning about the Middle Prayer is the 'Ashar Prayer, as reported by Az-Zuhri from Salim from his father, and by Imam Muslim and An-Nasa-i from Abu Yunus from 'Aisyah r.a., and byImam Muslim  from Yahya bin Yahya from Malik, and by Imam Malik from Zahid bin Aslam from 'Amr bin Rafi'.}. And we must stand up because of Allah in performing the Sholat and not becouse of any other reason and perform them with devotion and be engrossed in them.{In order to have the engrossment, concentrate on what we recite and on every movement we make}).
Until we meet again, Insya Allah. See all of You, Quran Lovers soon.
Wassalamu alaikum w. w.
 Abdul Hamid Mohd Yusof Ali.
