Recitation No. 408

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to look into the explanation of the first clause in verse 245:
= (Allah continued to say, "He will give back the good loan given with the good intention and will double it in a great many-fold, that is, from Ten to Seven hundred folds".).
Let us now continue to recite the second clause of verse 245. Please refer to the Text :
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
وَاللهُ يَقْبِضُ وَ يَبْصُطُ وَ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
(245)
="Wal-Lohu Yaq-bi-dhu Wa Yab-shu-tu Wa I-lai Hi Tur-ja-'u~~~n".
"Wa" (after it, is an Alif Lam Syamsiyah, "-Wal-") = and
"(A)l-Loha" (a Lafzhul-Jalalah) = The (One and Only) God
"Yaq-ri-dhu" (the silent Qof is a Qolqoloh Sughro) = he constricts
"Wa" = and,   "Yab-shu-tu" (the silent Ba is a Qolqoloh Sughro. The tiny Sin above the letter "Dhod" denotes the Sin is the present day word = "Yab-su-tu") = he unfolds,   "Wa" = and
"I-lai" (a Mad Lin / softness, half emphatic) = to,   "Hi" = him
"Tur-ja-'u~na"  (we stop at this Mad Ashli, becomes a Mad 'Aridh Lis-Sukun, to 2 or 4 or 6 harakah, "-'u~~~n".) = you (pl.) be returned.
(245) = the end of the verse and the numbers are its number sign.
=  "And (it is) Allah who constrict / make smaller (one's livelihood) and unfold / make plentiful (one's livelihood). And to Him / Allah you (pl.) will return.".       =   (Allah Have the power to make tight one's livelihood and He is also Able to unfold and Make plentiful one's livelihood as a "Test" to the person to see if he / she could be tolerant when in tight and dificulties, and if he / she would be thankful and could be thrifty with his / her wealth. All will be returned to Him in the Hereafter and will be rewarded or will be punished for their deeds during their life times in this present world.).
Until we meet again in the next session, Insya Allah. See all of You Quran Lovers soon.
Wassalamu alaikum w. w.
Abdul Hamid Mohd Yusof Ali.
