Recitation 65

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue with surah 36 Yasi~n. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(69) وَمَاعَلَّمنَهُ اُلشِّعْرَوَمَا يَنْبَغِى لَهُ , ج إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّاذِكْرٌوَقُرْءَانٌ مُّبِينٌ
وَمَا عَلَّمْنَهُ اُلشِّعْرَ  = "Wa Ma~ 'Al-lam Na~ Husy-SYii-ro", "Wa" = And, "Ma~" = not, " 'Al-lam" = to teach, "Na~" = We, "Hu" = him, "asy-SYii-ro" = the poetry
وَمَايَنْبَغِى لَهُ = "Wa Ma~ Yam~" (an Iqlab/changing نْ to مْ with a humming nasal sound = 2 harakah) "ba-ghi~ Lah".
ج = a Waqof Jaiz/permissible pause sign.
"Wa Ma~" = and not, "Yam~ba-ghi~" = to excel, "La Hu" = for him.
"Wa Ma~ 'Al-lam Na~ Husy-SYii-ro Wa Ma~ Yam~ba-ghi~ Lah" = And We (Allah) do not teach him (the Prophet s.a.w.) poetry, and to be a celebrated poet is not (meant) for him.
(If we do not pause here, then it would be "La Hu~~" (a Madd SHilah Towilah = 4 harakah)
إِنْ هُوَ = "In Hu-wa",  "In" = truly, "Hu-wa" = he,
إِلَّا = "Il-la~" = but
ذِكْرٌوَقُرْءَانٌ مُّبِينٌ = "DZik-ruw~Wa Qurr-a~num~Mu-bi~~n.". "DZik-run" = Citation, "Wa" = and, "Qurr-a~nun" = Quran/
 Perusal, "Mu-bi~nun" = clear.
"In Hu-wa DZik-ruw~Wa Qurr-a~num~Mu-bi~~n". = Truly, It is  clear DZikr/Citation of education and  Quran/Perusal of explanation (is suited and is meant for him). (Note: The Prophet s.a.w. had only daughters but without any son with him. The pagan Arabs said that if he were to have both sons and daughters with him they would surely  recite poems with him s.a.w. It was recorded that the Prophet s.a.w. had declaimed poem spontaneously on 3 occasions, once while digging the trench in the War of the Trench, the second in the War of Huneyn, the Prophet declaimed: "I am the Prophet, its no kadzib/lie, I am Ibnu/son of Abdul Muttalib." And the third was when he and his companion were in a cave. The Prophet s.a.w. knew how to declaim poem, but he was not meant to be a poet, and Allah revealed the above said verse.)
(70) لِيُنذِرَمَن كَانَ حَيًّاوَيَحِقَّ اُلْقَوْلُ عَلَى اُلْكَفِرِينَ
لِيُنذِرَ = "Li Yundz~DZi-ro", "Li" = For, "Yundz~DZi-ro" = him to warn
مَن كَانَ = "Mank~Ka~na", "Man" = those, "Ka~na" = to be
حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ اُلْقَوْلُ = "H*ay-yaw~Wa Ya-h*iq-qol-Qow-lu", "Hay-yan" = alive, sensible, "Wa" = and, "Ya-h*iq-qo" = certain, "al-Qow-lu" = the declaration
عَلَى اُلْكَفِرِينَ = " 'A-lal-Ka~fi-ri~~n".  " 'A-la~" = on, "al-Ka~fi-ri~na" = the unbelievers.
"Li Yudz~DZi-ro Mank~Ka~na Hay-yaw~Wa Ya-h*iq-qol-Qow-lu 'A-lal-Ka~fi-ri~~n". = For him/he is to warn any person alive and it is certain that Allah's declaration (on the decision) upon the unbelievers, the sinners (i.e. the punishment in Hell, unchanged).
(71) أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ أَنَّاخَلَقْنَالَهُمْ مِّمَّاعَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآأَنْعَمًافَهُمْ لَهَا مَلِكُونَ
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ = "A-wa Lam Ya-row", "A-wa" = Do, have, "Lam" = not, "Ya-row" = they see, know
أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا = "An~Na~", "An" = that, "Na~" = We, "KHo-laq" = created, "Na~" = We
لَهُمْ مِّمَّا = "La Hum~Mim~Ma~", "La" = for, "Hum" = them, "Mim~Ma~" = of what
عَمِلَتْ = " 'A-mi-lat" = is done
أَيْدِينَآأَنْعَمًافَهُمْ لَهَا = "Ai-di~na~~ An-'a~manf~Fa Hum La Ha~", "Ai-di~" = hands, "Na~" = Our, "An-'a~ma~" =livestock/farm animals, "Fa" = then, "Hum" = they, "La" = of, "Ha~" = her, it
مَلِكُونَ = "Ma~li-ku~~n".  "Ma~li-ku~na" = possessors.
"A-wa Lam Ya-row An~Na~ KHo-laq Na~ La Hum~Mim~Ma~ 'A-mi-lat Ai-di~ Na~~ An-'a-manf~Fa Hum La Ha~ Ma~li-ku~~n". =Do they not know and see that We (Allah) have created for them/their benefit which We did by Our hands (none other than Us could do it), that is the livestock and they take possession of them.
(72) وَذَلَّلْنََهَالَهُمْ فَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ
وَذَلَّلْنَهَا = "Wa DZal-lal Na~ Ha~", "Wa" = And, "DZal-lal" = overcome, tamed, "Ha~" = it
لَهُمْ فَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا = "La Hum Fa Hum Fa Min Ha~", "La Hum" = for them, "Fa Hum" = then they, "Fa Min Ha~" = then of them
رَكُوبُهُمْ = "Ro-ku~bu Hum" = ride them
وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ = "Wa Min Ha~ Yaa-ku-lu~~n" = and of it they eat.
"Wa DZal-lal Na~ Ha~ La Hum Fa Hum Fa Min Ha~ Ro-ku~bu Hum Wa Min Ha~ Yaa-ku-lu~~n". = And We tamed it/the livestock for them so that they may ride on some, and eat the flesh of it.
(73) وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ صلى أَفَلَايَشْكُرُونَ
وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا = "Wa La Hum Fi~ ha~" = And for them of it
مَنَفِعُ = "Ma-na~fi-'u" = benefit
وَمَشَارِبُ = "Wa Ma-sya~ri-bu" = and drink
صلى = a permissible pause but Washol/continuity is preferred sign
أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ = "A-fa La~ Yasy-ku-ru~~n" = do not give thanks.
"Wa La Hum Fi~Ha~ Ma-na~fi-'u Wa Ma-sya~ri-bu A-fa La~ Yasy-ku-ru~~n". = And they have many benefits from it, and they drink (its milk), thence, should they not be thankful (to Allah)?
