Recitation 62

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers, 
In today's Utusan Malaysia, it was reported that tomorrow's Padang Merbuk illegal gathering might spark chaos, thus Muslims are asked to perform solat hajat for the safety of the nation and its people. We, Quran Lovers can help by reciting this surah 36, Yasi~n. But before reciting it, resolve in our hearts asking Allah to protect Malaysia from any untoward incident that might happen to our country tomorrow. Then recite the whole surah. Then entreat a doa, same as what our resolved before reciting the surah. This surah has a group of great, powerful and honourable guardians.
Let us now continue reciting surah Yasi~n: Please refer to the text:
أعوذبالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(60) أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْإِلَيْكُمْ يَبَنِى~ءَادَمَ أَن لَا تَعْبُدُواْاُلشَّيْطَنَ صلى إِنَّهُ و لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّمُّبِينٌ
أَلَمْ = "A-lam" = Did not
أَعْهَدْ = "Aa-hadd" = I charge
إِلَيْكُمْ = "I-lai Kum",  "I-lai" = to, "Kum" = you all
يَبَنِى~ءَادَمَ = "Ya~ Ba-ni~~ A~da-ma",  "Ya~" = O, "Ba-ni~" = children, "A~da-ma" = Adam
أَن لَا = "Al-La~",  "An" = that, "La~" = not
تَعْبُدُواْ اُلشَّيْطَنَ = "Taa-bu-dusy-SYai-t*o~na", "Taa-bu-du" = worship, "asy-SYai-t*o~na" = the Satan/Devil
صلى = a permissible pause, but Washol/continuity is preferred
إِنَّهُ و لَكُمْ = "In~na Hu~ La Kum", "In~na" = truly, "Hu~" = he, "La" = to, "Kum" = you all
عَدُوٌّمُّبِينٌ = 'A-duw-wum~Mu-bi~~n".  " 'A-duw-wun" = enemy", "Mu-bi~nun" = clear, manifest.
"A Lam Aa-hadd I-lai Kum Ya~ Ba-ni~~ A~da-ma Al-La~ Taa-bu-dusy-SYai-t*o~na In~na Hu~ La kum 'A-duw-wum~Mu-bi~~n". = (To the unbelievers, the sinners, is said:) "Did I (Allah) charged you, O children of Adam, not to worship (to follow his biddings) the Satan/Devil, because he is truly your manifest enemy.
(61) وَأَنِ اُعْبُدُونِى ج هَذَا صِرَطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ  
وَأَنِ اُعْبُدُونِى = "Wa A-nii-bu-du~ni~",  "Wa" = and, "A-ni" = that, "Ii-bu-du~" = do worship, "Ni~" = Me
ج = a Waqof Jaiz = pause is permitted, and it is good to pause here.
"Wa A-nii-bu-du~ Ni~" = And that you worship Me (Allah) {and Me alone}.
هَذَا = "Ha~dza~" = This
صِرطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ = "SHi-ro~t*um~Mus-ta-qi~~m".  "SHi-ro~tum" = path, "Mus-ta-qi~mun" = straight.
"Ha~za~ SHi-ro~tum~Mus-ta-qi~~m" = (Because) This, is the straight path.
وَلَقَدْأَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّاكَثِرًا صلى أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُواْتَعْقِلُونَ
وَلَقَدْ = "Wa La-qodd", "Wa" = And, "La-qodd"= in fact
أَضَلَّ = "A-dhol-la" = to mislead
مِنكُمْ = "Mink~Kum", "Min" = of, "Kum" = you all
جِبِلًّاكَثِيرًا = "Ji-bil-lak~Ka-thi~ron",  "Ji-bil-lan" = plenty of mankind, "Ka-thi~ron" = much, many
صلى = pause is permitted but Washol/continuity is preferred sign
أَفَلَمْ  = "A-fa Lam" = "A-fa" = do, have,  "Lam" = not
تَكُونُواْ = "Ta-ku~nu~" = you to be
تَعْقِلُونَ = "Taa-qi-lu~~n". "Taa-qi-lu~na"  = be understanding.
"Wa La-qodd A-dhol-la Mink~Kum Ji-bil-lank~Ka-thi~ron A-fa  Lam Ta-ku~nu~ Taa-qi-lu~~n" = And in fact, (the Satan) had misled a great many of you, do you not understand/have any sense?
