Recitation No. 484.

اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
 بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Before we recite the verse of the Quran,  let us first see what had happened in the Prophet's s.a.w. camp after the Battle of Badr. Most of the Meccans who were being defeated, captured, and/or killed by the Muslims who were mostly weak and young fighters, were big, tough, strong and seasoned and good fighters especially Al-Abbas bin Abd Muttalib, the Prophet's s.a.w. uncle who was then an unbeliever. The weak and young Muslim fighters replied that when they struck the enemies, but before the enemies were hit, they fell unconscious to the ground. They, the young Muslims, just apprehended and took the unconscious Meccans as prisoners to the camp. In surah 8, Al-Anfal, verses 5 - 18, Allah had related about the Battle of Badr, and in verse No. 9 of the said surah, Allah told that He had sent One Thousand Angels to help the Prophet s.a.w. in that battle, and in verse 12, Allah said He taught the angels who did not know how to fight Mankind, to strike the disbelievers on the back of their necks, and if they wore armours covering their necks, strike their fingers which were holding their weapons.
Let us now recite surah 3 A~li 'Imro~n, verse 14. Please refer to the Text :

(Qly/pause).  Those are the enjoyment of life in this world / worldly enjoyments (of every Mankind).  (Shly/pause), For with Allah there are better and an excellent resort place to return to." (14).
= ( Allah told us that Mankind is created with the passion for women (or other wise, men), for children, for plenty of or tons of gold and silver (and also, nowadays, money), an for well bred up horses (and cars or motorcycles), and the grazing live-stock, farms or orchards (or businesses and investments),  and so forth. And all these are not forever but of  a temporary nature. The believers and those who have Faith should not be deceived by all these worldly enjoyment and forget and keep away from the necessities for the Akirah or the Future Life in the Hereafter. They should "hold in their hands" the worldly enjoyments and at the same time "carry on their heads" to do the good deeds as requied in Islam. Thence, they will have goodness in this world and will also gain goodness in the Herafter and the acceptance, the consent and the Blessing of Allah. And He / Allah will be pleased with us. And with Allah, there  are much better and excellent enjoyment to which and where we will return.).
Till we meet again in the next session, Insya Allah. See You all Quran Lovers later.
 Wassalamu alaikum w. w.
