Recitaion No. 486-A.

اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us look in the explanation of verse 17 of surah 3 A~li 'Imro~n :
Allah Told us the attributions of those people who are "Taqwa" / fear and be devoted to Allah, they are (i) the ones who are patient and steasfast in performing the duties of a Muslim, they are patient in staying away from the "Haram", all the prohibitions, they are patient when in need, are patient when sick, and are patient during war time,
(ii) truthful and sincere. Asy-Syaikh Qotadah explained, "it is: the person's intention is true, right and correct when he/she speaks and the words from his/her heart and mouth spoken, all are the truth and nothing but the truth,
(iii) obedient, that is to obey, to be loyal, to submit oneself and be "khusyuu" / engrossed to Allah during performing " 'Ibadah" / religious obligatory duties,
(iv) donative and provident for the family and for the charities,
 (v) appealing to Allah for forgiveness at the end of the nights, that is to perform the sholah Tahajjud. In the Books of Shohih Bukhori and Shohih Muslim it was narrated that a number of the Prophet's s.a.w. companions r.a. reported that the Prophet s.a.w. had said (meaning), "Allah s.w.t. Descend to the lowest Heaven / the Heaven above us every night, that is the last 3rd part of the night (before dawn). He s.w.t. Say, "Are there people who appeal (to Me) that I will grant? Are there people who pray (to Me) for good wishes that I will fulfill? And are there people who appeal for my forgiveness that I will grant pardon to them?".  (ii) Bukhari and Muslim also narrated from 'Aisyah r.a. who said, "At every night the Prophet s.a.w. always performs sholah Witr / Witir at early part of the night, then at the middle part of the night and the last part of the night, and his s.a.w. Witir ends at the break of dawn".  (iii) Ibnu Mardawaih narrated from Anas bin Malik  who said, " We were asked by the Prophet s.a.w. if we performed Night Prayers / Sholah Tahajjud, we were to ask Allah for forgiveness by reciting, "Astagh-firul-Loh = I ask Allah's forgiveness" Seventy times repeatedly, at "Sahar = before dawn".).
Till we meet again in the next session, Insya Allah. See You all Quran Lovers later.
 Wassalamu alaikum w. w.
 Abdul Hamid Mohd Yusof Ali.
