Recitation N0. 482.

اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
 Let us continue to recite surah 3 A~li 'Imro~n, verse 12. Pleasae refere to the Text :
 اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَتُغْلَبُونَ وَتُحْشَرُونَ إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ  ج  وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ  (12)
 = "Qul-Lil-La-dzi~na Ka-fa-ru~ Sa Tugh-la-bu~na Wa Tuh-sya-ru~na I-la~ Ja-han~nam.   (Jim).  Wa Bii-sal-Mi-Ha~~~dd".
 = "Qul" = say,  "Li" (after it, is an Alif Lam Syamsiyah, "Lil-") = to,  "(A)l-La-dzi~na" = those who,  "Ka-fa-ru~" (a Mad Ashli, after which is a Silent Alif denotes that it is not a Mad and is unpronounced) = disbelieve,  "Sa" (shortened form of Sau-fa) = shall, will,  "Tugh-la-bu~na" = you (pl.) be defeated,  "Wa" = and,  "Tuh-sya-ru~na" = you (pl.) be gathered, be crammed,  "I-la~" = in,  "Ja-han~nam" (a Wajibul-Ghunnah) = Hell.  (Jim) = a pause sign.  "Wa" = and,  "Bii-sa" (after the above sign Sin, is an Alif Lam Qomariyah, "-sal-") = what a bad, a wretched,  "(A)l-Mi-ha~du" (a Mad Ashli and is paused at it becomes a Mad 'Aridh Lis-Suku, and the made silent Dal is a Qolqoloh Kubro, "-ha~~~dd") = the resting place.
 = "Say to those who disbelieve, "You will be defeated and will be crammed in Hell, (Jim/pause),  a wretched resting place".
 = (Ibnu 'Abbas r.a. reported that with this verse Allah is asking the Prophet s.a.w. to say to the disbelievers, that is the Jews in Medina, who, when they saw the Prophet s.a.w. and his small band followers had defeated a large and well equipped and a well armed Meccan pagan Arabs in the Battle of Badr/Badar, said, "By God! He/Muhammad s.a.w. is the Prophet as told by Prophet Moses a.s. . And in the Torah had mentioned the characteristics of him/Muhammad s.a.w.". And they/the Jews were prepared to follow the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. and to embrace Islam. But some of them said, "Do not be in a hurry (in following Muhammad s.a.w and in embracinrg Islam) until all of you see other incidents (other battles in which the Prophet s.a.w. will fight)". Then when the Battle of Mt. Uhud, a year later, broke out, and before that, they, the Jews in Medina, had made an agreement with the Prophet s.a.w., among others, that both parties were to assist each other even in battles for an appointed period. But the Jews broke their promise, istead of assisting the Prophet s.a.w. and his followers a.s. to fight against the Three thousand strong army from Mecca, they, the Jews, had pulled out their 60 cavalry troop which was headed by Kaab bin Al-Asyraf and had intended to take the side of the Meccans, together with the Meccans, they wanted to attack and to fight the Prophet s.a.w. and his companions. Thus, Allah revealed this verse telling the Prophet to say to the Jews that they, the Jews, because they had violated their promise and sided the enemy of the Prophet s.a.w., would be defeated in that battle and would be crammed in Hell, a wretched place of resting in the Hereafter.
 In the end, what Allah revealed did happen. Not long after that, the Muslimin killed the treacherous Jews of the Quraizhah clan, and they, the Muslims drove away the hypocrite Jews of the An-Nadhir clan. The Muslims had also conquered Khoibar city and had imposed on the inhabitants, the Jews in city, to pay poll tax to the Muslims whom they had stood against, before the Battle.).
