= "But Allah Permit trade and Forbid usury / usurious interest. Thence, he who received the warning from his Lord and stop, then for him what (the usury he took) is in the past. and to Allah he entrusts. And those who return (to taking usury), then they are the dwellers of the Fiery Hell and they will be there eternally".
= ({From the Book of Fiqh, The Bulughul-Maram, "Riba" or usury or usurious interest is defined, briefly, as when taking extra or asking for extra amount when exchanging gold with gold, silver with silver, money with money, and food with food, which must be of the same weight, and of the same proportion. When taking or asking for an extra in weight and / or extra in proportion, is an usury. But if it were of different kind or type, such as exchanging gold for money, rice for salt and so forth, then it must be traded, buying and selling, in cash, then it is not usury. But (i) if borrowing is of money or gold or silver or rice or wheat or salt and so forth, is not borrowing because it is not in cash, but it is a debt. (ii) If wanting to buy in cash or in gold or in silver any ornament, and it has precious stones in it, then the precious stones must first be gouged out then weigh the gold or the silver. (But nowadays people buy and pay for the whole thing, gold and the precious stones). Nowadays people borrow money, and / or buy assets on hire-purchase. And we know that the value of the money fluctuates, rise and fall. Will the present value of money and its purchasing power be the same as at the time we borrowed or bought the assets. So, the borrower should give some extra money within a reasonable amount to the creditor so that he / she does not lose and this is legal.}. Allah Allow trade but Forbid usury. Usury makes the borrower who is already poor and in need, suffer because the creditor takes extra money from the debtor/borrower with a very high interest without having any sympathy for the borrower, and his family members who are poor. Those who know about the prohibition on usury by Allah and stop from taking it, thus, Allah Forgive the sin/the wrong they had done in the past before knowing of the prohibition. And the forgiveness is up to Allah to give. But do not do it again after knowing the Law, if he does take and devour usury again, knowing that it is forbidden but considers it as lawful, then he will be punished in the Fiery Hell and will be in there forever and ever.).
Until we meet again in the next session, see all of You Quran Lovers later.
