بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh, synopsis of Islam. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(225) لَا يُؤَاخِذُ كُمُ اُللهُ بِاُللَّغْوِ فِى~ أَيْمَنِكُمْ وَلَكِن يُؤَاخِذُ كُمْ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ قلى وَاُللهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
لَا يُؤَاخِذُ كُمُ اُللهُ بِاُللَّغْوِ فِى~ أَيْمَنِكُمْ = "La~ Yu-a~khi-dzu Kum-mul-Lohu Bil-Lagh-wi Fi~~ Ai-ma~ni Kum", = "La~" = Do not, "Yu-a~khi-dzu" = He Blame, "Ku-mu" = you (pl.), "Al-Lohu" = Allah, "Bi" = for, "al-Lagh-wi" = the mistake, "Fi~" = in, "Ai-ma~ni" = oath, swearing, "Kum" = you (pl.),
وَلَكِن يُؤَاخِذُ كُم بِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ = "Wa La~kiy~Yu-a~khi-dzu Kum~Bi-ma~ Ka-sa-bat Qu-lu~bu Kum". = "Wa La~kin" = but, "Yu-a~khi-dzu" = He Blame, "Kum" = you (pl.), "Bi-ma~" = because, "Ka-sa-bat" = gain, intentional, "Qu-lu~bu" = hearts, "kum" = your (pl.).
"La~ Yu-a~khi-dzu Ku-mul-Lohu Bil-Lagh-wi Fi~~ Ai-ma~ni Kum Wa La~kiy~Yu-a~khi-dzu Kum~Bi-ma~ Ka-sa-bat Qu-lu~bu Kum".  = Allah Do not blame/punish you (pl.) for the mistake /unintentionally made in your oath, but He Blame/punish you because of (your oath) was (made) intentionally in your hearts.
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَاُللهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ = "Wal-Lohu GHo-fu~run Ha-li~~m".  = "Wa" = And, "Al-Lohu" = Allah is, "GHo-fu~run" = Much-Forgiving, "Ha-li~mun" = Most-Understanding.
"Wal-Lohu GHo-fu~run Ha-li~~m".  = And Allah is Much-Forgiving, Most-Understanding.
(This verse means that Allah s.w.t. Do not punish nor Allow us, Muslimin, to fulfil an oath/swearing made ununtentional mistake, while making it, and we do not mean it so".
Bukhori and Muslim narrated that a report from Abu Huroiroh r.a. that the Prophet s.a.w. said, "Whosoever had sworn by the names of Latta and 'Uzza (gods of the Pagan Arabs) must recite "La~ Il-la~ha Il-Lal-Loh = (there no other ilah/deity to be worshipped but Allah)."
But Allah s.w.t. will punish us if we commit a perjury/swearing that something is true which we know that it is not true but it is false.
Those of us who made an unintentional mistake in our oath are forgiven by Allah s.w.t. and those of us who had committed perjury, Allah have always delay in passing judgment and in imposing punishment on us so that we would repent and ask Allah s.w.t. for forgiveness and that we will not be doing it ever again because Allah s.w.t. is Much-Forgiving and He s.w.t. is Most-Understanding).
(226) (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
