Recitation 364.2

Dear Quran Lovers,
This morning, about 9 a.m. Malaysian time, the plane from the Netherland bringing 9 coffins of the victims in the MH17 incident had arrived safely in K. L. They contained 2 Muslimain and 6 non-Muslim and One baby. This baby will be/is being looked after by Siti Sarah/Sara, wife of Prophet Abraham a.s.
While the coffins were being carried by the Army personals, I was restless in my seat. I felt ache and pain in my waistline. I took no notice of it as I was busy reciting verses. Then, after the ceremony was over, the ache and pain disappeared. Might it not be that the souls of the deceaseds, including the non-Muslim came to me, and might it not be that they were among us who loved the Quran? I believe they were/are. Insya Allah wal-Hamdulillah. Alhamdulillah, I am happy because this blog has served its purpose, to give information of how to recite the Quran and to explain Its meaning for those who do not have the time nor the means to learn from a Quran teacher. Alhamdulillah. For Allah s.w.t. is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
                                        *********
Let us now continue to recite verse 217 of surah 2 Al-Baqoroh, synopsis of Islam. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
ج = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
= "Wa" = and, "al-Fit-na-tu" = the intimidation, sedition is, "Ak-ba-ru" = bigger, greater, "Mi-na" = than, "al-Qot-li" = the killing, butchery.
"Wal-Fit-na-tu Ak-ba-ru Mi-nal-Qotl" = And sedition is bigger/greater (sin) than killing/butchery.
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
Wa La~ Ya-za~lu~na Yu-qo~ti-lu~na Kum", = "Wa" = and, "La~" = do not, "Ya-za~lu~na" = they cease to, "Yu-qo~ti-lu~na" = they attack, "Kum" = you (pl.),
حَتَّى يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَن دِينِكُمْ إِنِ اُسْتَطَعُواْ = "Hat-ta~ Ya-rud-du~ Kum 'And~Di~ni Kum I-nis-ta-to~'u~".  = "Hat-ta~" = until, "Ya-rud-du~" = they take back, return, "Kum" = you (pl.), " 'An" = to, "Di~ni" = religion, "Kum" = your (pl.), "In-ni" = if, "is-ta-to~'u~" =  they be able to do, they could.
"Wa La~ Ya-za~lu~na Yu-qo~ti-lu~na Kum Hat-ta~ Ya-rud-du~ Kum 'And~Di~ni Kum I-nis-ta-to~'u~".  = For they will not cease to attack you until they return you back (to your former religion, the Paganism) from your (present) religion (Islam), if they could.
(After Abdullah ibnu Jahsyun r.a. had captured Hakam and 'Uthman and took all their mechandise home to Medina, and 'Amru bin Al-Hadhromi was killed by an arrow, and Nawfal had escaped and ran home to Mecca, the news of the killing and the capture of the 2 men spread in Mecca and they had exaggerated the incident and had accused the Prophet s.a.w. by saying in an insulting way that the Prophet s.a.w. had permitted the killing during the Forbidden Month and plundering the Meccan caravan of its merchandise. This accusation was/is a sedition. Allah s.a.w. say that  this sedition is a bigger and greater sin than the butchery/killing of 'Amru bin Al-Hadhromi. Allah s.w.t. had also said that the Pagan Quraisy had disbelieved in Allah, and they had prevented people/Muslimin from entering the Sacred Mosque, and they had driven the Prophet s.a.w. and his s.a.w. followers from the city of Mecca, such are seditions and they are of greater sin than the killing of 'Amru bin Al-Hadhromi.
Allah s.w.t. had also informed the Prophet s.a.w. and his s.a.w. followers that the disbelievers will attack them until they/the disbelievers could return them/the Muslimin to their former religion/the unbelief. The unbelievers at this present day are also attacking the Muslimin so that they would desert Islam and be converted to their religion, whatever religion it is. Do we not see the Muslimin in Malaysia, many of them, are following their/the disbelievers' ways of life? "Na'u~dzu Bil-La~hi Minadz-Dza~lik" = May Allah protect us all from such thing).
(to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
Abdul Hamid Mohd Yusof.
