أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
إِنَّ اُلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَاُلَّذِينَ هَادُواْ وَاُلنَّصَرَى وَاُلصَّبِئِينَ = "In~nal-La-dzi~na A~ma-nu~ Wal-La-dzi~na Ha~du~ Wan~Na-sho~ro~ Wash-SHo~bi-i~na",  "In~na" = Truly, "al-La-dzi~na" = who, "A~ma-nu~" = believe, "Wa" = and, "al-La-dzi~na" = who, "Ha~du~" = Jews, "Wa an~Na-sho~ro~" = and the Nazarenes, "Wa ash-SHo~bi-i~na" = and the Sabaeans,
مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِاُللهِ وَاُلْيَوْمِ اُلْأَخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلَهُمْ = "Man A~ma-na Bil-Lahi Wal-Yaw-mil-A~khi-ri Wa 'A-mi-la SHo~li-hanf~Fa La Hum",  "Man" = who, "A~ma-na" = have Faith, believe, "Bi" = in, "Al-Lahi" = Allah, "Wa" = and, "al-Yaw-mi" = the Day, "al-A~khi-ri" = the Other, = "Yaw-mil-A~khi-ri" = the Hereafter, "Wa 'A-mi-la" and do, "SHo~li-han" = good deeds, "Fa La Hum" = then for them
أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ = "Ajj-ru Hum 'Ind~da Rob-bi Him",  "Ajj-ru" = reward, recompense, "Hum" = them, " 'Ind~da" = with, "Rob-bi" = Lord, "Him" = their,
وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ = "Wa La~ KHow-fun 'A-lai Him Wa La~ Hum Yah-za-nu~~n".  "Wa La~" = and no, "KHow-fun" = fear, " 'A-lai Him" = upon them, "Wa La~" = and no, "Yah-za-nu~na". = grief.
"In~nal-La-dzi~na A~ma-nu~ Wal-La-dzi~na Ha~du~ Wan~Na-sho~ro~ Wash-SHo~bi-i~na Man A~ma-na Bil-Lahi Wal-Yaw-mil-A~khi-ri Wa 'A-mi-la SHo~li-hanf~Fa La Hum Ajj-ru Hum 'Ind~da Rob-bi Him Wa La~ KHow-fun 'A-lain Him Wa La~ Hum Yah-za-nu~~n". = Really, the Believers and the Jews and the Nazarenes and the Sabaeans, whosoever have Faith/believe in Allah and the Hereafter and also do good deeds, for them are rewards/recompense from their Lord/Allah. They will have no fear whatsoever nor will they be grieved.
(Allah informs us that there were four groups of people who faced the Prophet s.a.w. when he s.a.w. first made his call to Islam. They were: (i) the Believers who had already have Faith and believed in the rise of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. (ii) The Jews who followed the Decree of Prophet Moses a.s. (iii) The Nazarenes who followed the Decree of Prophet Jesus son of Mary a.s. and (iv) The Sabaeans who admitted that they followed the Decree of Prophet Noah a.s., or those who worshipped the host of heaven/stars seeking a true religion of Allah.
When the call to Islam was made to all these four groups, and should they or any of them accepted and have Faith and believed in Allah and the Hereafter/the Life after Death and also they do good deeds in accordance with the teaching of Islam, which includes to have Faith in the Six Principles of Faith, to perform the Five Pillars of Islam, to have  Good Conducts/Behaviours, to do good deeds and so forth as being mentioned in this surah Al-Baqoroh, thence, Allah prepares for them rewards or recompense in the Hereafter, and in this world on this earth, they will live in peace and without fear nor with grief. [This also applies to all of us, you and me].
(63) (to be continued).
                                       oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
  (2) Solat: (B) The Sunnah/optional In A Solat:
(xiii) The Length Of Moment For Sujud And Its Recitation.
It is Sunnah for the person who performs Sujud to recite, "Sub-ha-na Rob-bi-yal-Aa-laa Wa Bi Ham-dih. Al-lohum~magh-fir Li~ + Wa Li Wa~li-dai-ya". (This was explained previously in the Recitation In Rukuu".
This Sujud position is the moment when a person is closed to Allah. We may entreat any wish we have. If we entreat in a language other than Arabic, then we must entreat in our hearts. Speaking non-Arabic in Solat will spoil the Solat. A Hadith narrated by Ahmad and Muslim that the Prophet s.a.w. said, "The "second"/moment a bondservant is most closed beside his/her God/ Allah is when he/she Sujud. So, you should entreat as many doa as possible while in the Sujud.

"Be known that I/Muhammad s.a.w. was/is prohibited from reciting verses of the Quran when Rukuu and when Sujud. Thus, when Rukuu all of you should glorify Allah, and when Sujud, strive to entreat doa because it is quite/positively possible it will be fulfilled by Allah.".
There are many other Hadith reported the same.
[When entreating, ask for only one wish. That is, one wish at one time/Sujud].
(xiv) The Ritual Of Sitting Down In Between Two Sujud: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Abdul Hamid Mohd Yusof.
