بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam).
Please refer to the text:
وَإِذِ اُسْتَسْقَى مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِى = "Wa I-dzis-tas-qo~ Mu~sa~ La Qow-mi Hi~",  "Wa I-dzi" = And when, "is-tas-qo~" = to ask for a drink, "Mu~sa~" = Moses, "Li" = for, "Qow-mi" = people, "Hi~" = his,

"Wa La~ Taa-thaw Fil-Arr-dhi Muf-si-di~~n".  = And do not ever do evil with wickness on the earth.
(In this verse, Allah reminds about Prophet Moses a.s. when he a.s. and his people first arrived at Sinai and they were in the desert where there was nothing but sand and stones and rocks, and they were thirsty, he a.s. entreated for water to drink. Then Allah told him a.s. to strike a large rock with his staff/stick. Thence, twelve water springs gushed out of the rock. And each tribe knew which water was theirs. This is the tenth Niimat/comfort Allah had given the Children of Israel).
[Islam also teaches us to eat and drink good nutritious  food and drink which Allah provides us. And we are not to do evil with wickness to all creatures on earth].
                                        oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
  (2) Solat: (B) The Sunnah/optional In A Solat:
  (x) The Recitation When Iitidal:
It is Sunnah for a person, be he the Imam or the Maamum or performing the solat alone, to recite when raising from the Rukuu and raising both hands to the shoulders, "Sa-mi-'al-Lohu Li Man Ha-mi-dah" = Allah hears those who thank and praise Him".
Then when standing up straight, put down both hands to the sides and recite, "Rob-ba Na~ Wa La Kal-Hamdd." = O our Lord, to You be praised.". This is based on the report by Abu Huroiroh r.a., who said, "That the prophet s.a.w. recited "Sami-'al-Lohu Li Man Hamidah", when raised his back from Rukuu". Then when stood up right, he s.a.w. recited, "Robba Na~ Wa La Kal-Hamdd".(narrated by Ahmad, Bukhori and Muslim).
From Abu Huroiroh r.a. who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "When the Imam recites, "Sami-'al-Lohu Li Man Hamidah", then all of you Maamum/followers must say, "Robba Na~ Wa La Kal-Hamdd". Whosoever say it at the same time as the Angels, their sins will be pardoned". (narrated by Ahmad and others).
It is Sunnah also to add to the utterance, "Robba Na~ Wa La Kal-Hamdd" with " Ham-dank~Ka-thi~ront~Toy-yi-bam~Mu-ba~ro-kanf~Fi~h" = O our Lord, to You be praised with lots of praises, of good praises and be blessed.". This was reported by Rifa'ah ibnu Rofii, who said, " One day, we solat behind the Prophet s.a.w. And when he s.a.w. raised his head from Rukuu, he s.a.w. recited, "Sami-'allohu Li Man Hamidah", a man uttered, "Robba Na~ La Kal-Hamdu Hamdank~Kathi~ront~Toy-yi-bam~Mu-ba~rokanf~Fi~h". Then after, solat, the prophet s.a.w. turned to us and asked, "Who said those words?". The man replied, "It was I, O Rosu~lulLoh." The Prophet s.a.w. said, "Truly, I saw more than thirty Angels rushing to write down (rewards to you).". (narrated by Ahmad, Bukhori, Malik and Abu Daud).
(xi) The Manner Of Kneeling To Perform Sujud And To Raise From It: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
