Recitation 211

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers, 
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(61) اُهْبِطُواْ مِصْرًا فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّاسَأَلْتُمْقلى وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ اُلذِّلَّةُ وَاُلْمَسْكَنَةُ وَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللهِقلى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ بِئَايَتِ اللهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ اُلنَّبِيِِىنَ بِغَيْرِ اُلْحَقِّقلى ذَلِكَ بِمَا عَصَواْوَّكَانُواْ يَعْتَدُونَ
اُهْبِطُواْ مِصْرًا فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّا سَأَلْتُمْ = "Ih-(when a Hamzah Washol اُ is at the beginning of a word, when start to recite, and the third letter of the word is with below sign بِ , the Hamzah Washol is pronounced with below sign, اِ )bi-tu~ Mish-tonf~Fa In~na La Kum~Ma~ Sa-al Tum".  "Ih-bi-tu~" =  Go to, "Mish-ron" = big city, "Fa In~na" = so that, "La Kum" = for all of you, "Ma~" = what, "Sa-al" = ask, "Tum" = all of you.
"Ih-bi-tu~ Mish-ronf~Fa In~na La Kum~Ma~ Sa-al Tum". = (When the Children of Israel asked for change of food from honey dew and quails to earth grown vegetations, Allah said,) "Go to the big city where all of you will get all that you have asked for"..
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ اُلذِّلَّةُ وَاُلْمَسْكَنَةُ وَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اُللهِ = "Wa DHu-ri-bat 'A-lai Hi-mudz-DZil-la-tu Wal-Mas-ka-na-tu Wa Ba~~u~ Bi GHo-dho-bim~Mi-nal-Loh.".  "Wa DHu-ri-bat" = And plagued, " 'A-lai Hi-mu" = upon them, "adz-DZil-la-tu" = to be lowly/degraded, "Wa al-Mas-ka-na-tu" = and miserable, "Wa Ba~~u~" = and to return, "Bi GHo-dho-bin" = to the anger, "Mi-na" = from, "Al-Lohi" = Allah.
"Wa DHu-ri-bat 'A-lai Hi-mudz-DZil-la-tu Wal-Mas-ka-na-tu Wa Ba~~u~ Bi GHo-dho-bim~Mi-nal-Loh". = Then they were plagued with lowliness/degraded and wretched life, and once again incurred the anger of Allah.
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ بِئَايَتِ اُللهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ اُلنَّبِيِّىنَ بِغَيْرِ اُلْحَقِّ = DZa~li-ka Bi An~na Hum Ka~nu~ Yak-fu-ru~na Bi A~ya~til-Lahi Wa Yaqq-tu-lu~nan~Na-biy-yi~na Bi GHoi-ril-Haqq.".  "DZa~l-ka" = That, "Bi" = for, because, "An~na Hum" = that they, "Yak-fu-ru~na" = they denied, "Bi A~ya~ti" = the verses/commandments, "Al-Lahi" = Allah, "Wa Yaqq-tu-lu~na" = and  they had killed, "an~Na-biy-yi~na" = the Prophets. "Bi Ghoi-ri" = without, "al-Haq-qi" = just.
"DZa~li-ka Bi An~na Hum Ka~nu~ Yak-fu-ru~na Bi A~ya~til-Lahi Wa Yaqq-tu-lu~nan~Na-biy-yi~na Bi GHoi-ril-Haqq." = That was because they always deny the verses/commandments of Allah, and they had unjustly killed (many) Prophets (of Allah).
قلى  = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
ذَلِكَ بِمَا عَصَواوَّكَانُواْ يَعْتَدُونَ = "DZa~li-ka Bi Ma~ 'A-show-Wa Ka~nu~ Yaa-ta-du~~n".  "DZa~li-ka" = That, "Bi Ma~" = because, " 'A-show" = they defy, "Wa " = and, "Ka~nu~" = to be, are, "Yaa-ta-du~na" = they overstep, transgress.
"DZa~li-ka Bi Ma~ 'A-show-WA Ka~nu~ Yaa-ta-du~~n". = That was because they defied (Allah) and (because) they were transgressors.
(The Children of Israel had always denied the verses/ commandments of Allah that they should punish the adulterous couple by stone to death, and they had unjustly killed many Prophets of Allah such as, Prophet Zachariah a.s., Prophet John the Baptist a.s. and many others a.s.. And they had/have also denied and defied Muhammad s.a.w. as the last and the final Messenger and the Prophet of Allah. Thence, they were and still are being plagued with degradation and wretched life, and had/have incurred the wrath of Allah.).

Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
   (2) Solat: (B) The Sunnah/optional In A Solat:
    (xii) The Ritual Of Sujud:
    It is Sunnah that those who perform Sujud to observe the followings:
    (a) To place the eyebrows, the nose and the hands/palms on the floor, and keep both arms apart from the sides of the body. This is based on the Hadith from Abu Humeid, who said, "That the Prophet s.a.w. placed his nose, eyebrows to the floor when Sujud, kept his arms apart from his waist and place his both palms right above his shoulders" (narrated by Ibnu Khuzaimah and Tirmidzi who confirmed it and said it was correct).
  (b) To place both palms in lines with the both ears. Some Ulama narrated that the tips of the both middle fingers be in line with the top of both ears, and both palms be in line with both shoulders.
  (c) All fingers are to be closed together. As Hakim and Ibnu Hibban narrated, "That the Prophet s.a.w. spread his fingers when Rukuu but made them closed together when Sujud.". 
   (d) To point all fingers towards the Qiblat. As was reported by Abu Humeid and was narrated by Bukhori, "When the Prophet s.a.w. performed Sujud, he s.a.w. placed his hands/palms flat and without clenching them, and his fingers were towards the Qiblat.".
