Recitation 287

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(134) تِلكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ صلى لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ صلى وَلَا تُسْئَلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ = "Til-ka Um~ma-tun Qodd KHo-lat".  "Til-ka" = That, "Um~ma-tun" = people, "Qodd" = already, "KHo-lat" = passed away.
"Til-ka Um~ma-tun Qodd KHo-lat".  = Those were the people who had passed away.
صلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ = "La Ha~ Ma~ Ka-sa-bat Wa La Kum~Ma~ Ka-sabb Tum".  "La Ha~" = For it/the people, "Ma~" = what, "Ka-sa-bat" = to earn, "Wa" = and, "La Kum" = for you (pl.), "Ma~" = what, "Ka-sabb" = to earn, "Tum" = you (pl.).
"La Ha~ Ma~ Ka-sa-bat Wa La Kum~Ma~ Ka-sabb Tum".  = For them, was what they earned, and for you (pl.) is what you have earned.
صلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَلَا تُسْئَلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ = "Wa La~ Tus-a-lu~na 'Am~Ma~ Ka~nu~ Yaa-ma-lu~~n".  "Wa" = And. "La~" = not, "Tus-a-lu~na" = you be asked/are accountable for, " 'An Ma~" = of what, "Ka~nu~" = to be, "Yaa-ma-lu~na". = they have done.
"Wa La~ Tus-a-lu~na 'Am~Ma~ Ka~nu~ Yaa-ma-lu~~n".  = And you will not beaccountable for what they have done.
(To the Jews and the Christians, Allah tells them not to say things which are absurd about the people of the past, that is the Prophets Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob a.s. and his sons. They have earned what they had done. And you, O Jews and Christians will earn what you have done. and you will not asked nor be accountable for what they did. But you will be asked and be accountable for what you yourselves have done.). [This verse is also concerns us, the Muslimin].
(135) (to be continued).
                                =====*****=====
The Hadith about the Dajjal, the Yaajuj and Maajuj and the breeze reported by Nawas ibnu Sam'an r.a. was narrated by Muslim.
Let us look at this Hadith about the Tolerance towards and the Love of Allah for His bondservants:
From Abu Musa r.a. who said that the Prophet s.a.w. said, "There is none nore tolerance than Allah when in hearing the injurious words: that Allah is being ascribed with partners, and that He has a son. But Allah still save them and provide them with Rizqi/sustenance, fortune and blessing.". (narrated by Muslim).
                                      ooooo000ooooo
Let us continue to look into the chronicle of Prophet Ismail/Ishmael a.s. son of Abraham a.s.:
Before we look into it, I wish to correct two unintentional careless mistakes I have made: (i) in Recitation 282, Prophet Abraham a.s. left his a.s. wife and his baby son a.s. under the large tree and left for Egypt to his wife, Sara. It was not Egypt, but it was Syam/Syria. (ii) In Recitation 285, After the testing incident/the sacrifice, he a.s. went back to Egypt to his wife, Sara. It was not Egypt, but Palestine. Very sorry for the mistakes.
After Siti Sarah had passed away, Allah commanded Prophet Abraham a.s. to take a Canaan lady, Qonturo daughter of Yaqtun to be his wife. Prophet Isaac a.s. then was still very small. With her, he a.s. had six children, they were: (i) Madin, (ii) Mudan, (iii) Yaqonan, (iv) Zamron, (v) Syaiq, and (vi) Syaukh.
From his a.s. eight children, Prophet Abraham's a.s. descendants were scattered all over the middle East.
"When Prophet Ishmael's a.s. wife was asked about the visitor who visited her, she replied, "Yes, there was an old man, such and such, then he asked about you, and I told him. He had also asked about our livelihood, I told him that we were in difficulty". Prophet Ishmael a.s. asked, "Did he leave any message for me?" "Yes, he sent his Salam and asked you to change your door frame.".
Prophet Ishmael a.s. said, "He is my father. He asked me to divorce you. So, go back to your family". Thus, Prophet Ishmael a.s. divorced his first wife. Then, he a.s. married another girl of the Children of Jurhum.
Prophet Abraham a.s. did not come to visit them for some time. When he a.s. came, Prophet Ishmael a.s. was not at home. He a.s. then went to visit his a.s. new daughter-in-law. He a.s. asked her about Ishmael a.s. She said: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
