ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
Al-La-dzi~na A~tai Na~ Hu-mul-Ki-ta~ba",  "Al-La-dzi~na" = Who, "A~tai" = have sent, been given, "al-Ki-ta~ba" = the Scripture,
"Yat-lu~na" = they recite, read, "Hu~" = It, "Haq-qo" = to be true, "Ti-la~wa-ti" = reading, "Hi~" = It, "U-la~~i-ka" = these are, "Yuu-mi-nu~na" = they believe, "Bi Hi~" = in It.
"Al-La-dzi~na A~tai Na~ Hu-mul-Ki-ta~ba Yat-lu~na Hu~ Haq-qo Ti-la~wa-ti Hi~~ U-la~~i-ka Yuu-mi-nu~na Bih".  = Those (people) who were given with the Scripture/the Quran, they read It as It should be read, these are true Believers in It.
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
"Wa" = And, "Man" = who, "Yak-furr" = disbelieve, "Bi Hi~" = in It, "Fa" = then, "U-la~~i-ka" = these are, "Hu-mu" = whom, "al-KHo~si-ru~na" = the losers.
"Wa Mai~Yak-furr Bi Hi~ Fa U-la~~i-ka Hu-mul-KHo~si-ru~~n".  = And those who disbelieve in It/the Quran, these are the losers.
(Those people means the Companions and the followers of the Prophet s.a.w. and the Jews and the Christians, and the Hindus and the Buddhists and the others who were given/told/informed about the Scripture/Al-Quran, they read It, and studied It, and  believed in It, and followed It, and put It into practice accordingly, these are the true Believers and their place in the Hereafter will be the Paradise. But those who disbelieve in Itthe Quran, and deny It, and disobey It, and discard It are really the losers, and their place in the Hereafter will be the Fiery Hell.).
(122) (to be continued).
                                 =====*****======
Let us now continue to look into the brief Chronicle of Prophet Jesus son of Mary a.s.:
When Mary became pregnant, she felt that she was in trouble, she did not know what she should do, and how she should tell others. She knew that if she told others, they would be suspicious of her innocency. But she loved to tell her aunt, Prophet Zakariah's wife, Asyiah/Elizabeth about it. When she entered and met Elizabeth, Elizabeth got up and put her arms around her/Mary, said, "Do you feel that you are pregnant?" Mary said, "You knew that I am pregnant!" and started to tell her aunt about the incident happened to her. And Elizabeth told Mary that she was also pregnant.
Joseph An-Najjar when seeing that Mary was pregnant, he said to Mary, "Mary, I am going to ask you a question and I hope that you would not be angry." Mary said, "What is it?". He said, "Would it be possible for a plant to grow without a seed. Would it be possible for a tree to grow without a seed. Would it be possible for a child be born without a father?" Mary said, "Right! You asked would a tree and a plant grow without any seed, then Yahweh "subhanahu wa ta'ala" = glory and exalted be to Him, first created trees and plants without any seed. And could a child be born without a father, truly, Yahweh s.w.t. created Adam without a father and a mother.". Joseph accepted her explanation and also accepted her condition. He was always there for Mary whenever she needed him.
The news about Mary being pregnant was known to all the Jewish community. They said, "She is being accompanied by Joseph and no one else in her shrine.".
Then Mary left for Nazareth and lived in a small hut far away from people in a place called Betlehem/"Baitullahmi". One day, she felt pain and knew that she was about to give birth to her child. She then went and sat down under a tree and leaned herself to the trunk of the tree. While in pain, she knew that she was being tested by her Lord, Yahweh s.w.t. Formerly, she was a devotee to God, but then, she was in the eyes of her community as a whore and an adultress. Then she cried out, "O my! Would I have died and had been a forgotten thing!".
A voice from below the valley called out, "Mary! Do not be sad! Your Lord has placed a brook beneath you. And when you shake the trunk of the palm tree toward you, it will drop ripe dates on you. So, eat and drink and be contented".
After Jesus a.s. was born, Allah said to Mary, "When you meet with any mankind, say, "Really, I have vowed a fast to the Compassionate/Yahweh and may not speak to anyone today." Mary knew that Yahweh was showing and teaching her how to deal with the Jewish community when she returned to Jerusalem. Then she carried her baby and walked back to Jerusalem. (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers soon.
