Recitation 278

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(125) وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا اُلْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًا وَاُتَّخِذُواْ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَهِيمَ مُصَلًّى صلى وَعَهِدْنَآ إِلَى~ إِبْرَهِيمَ وَإِسْمَعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِىَ لِلطَّآئِفِينَ وَاُلْعَكِفِينَ وَاُلرُّكَّعِ اُلسُّجُودِ
وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا اُلْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًا وَاُتَّخِذُواْ = "Wa Idz Ja-'al Nal-Bai-ta Ma-tha~ba-tal-Lin~Na~si Wa Am-naw~Wat-Ta-khi-dzu~",  "Wa" = And, "Idz" = when, "Ja-'al" = made, "Na~" = We, "al-Bai-ta" = the House, "Ma-tha-ba-tan" = meeting/gathering place, "Li" = for, "an~Na~si" = the mankind, "Wa" = and, "Am-nan" = to secure, safe, "Wa" = and, "it-Ta-khi-dzu~" = to take,
مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَهِيمَ مُصَلًّى = "Mim~Ma-qo~mi Ibb-ro~hi~ma Mu-shol-la~".  "Min" = of, "Ma-qo~mi" = place, standing, "Ibb-ro~hi~ma" = Abraham, "Mu-shol-la~" = place of Solat/worship.
"Wa Idz Ja-'al Nal-Bai-ta Ma-tha~ba-tal-Lin~Na~si Wa Am-naw~Wat-Ta-kho-dzu~ Mim~Ma-qo~mi Ibb-ro~hi~ma Mu-shol-la~".  = And (remember) when We/Allah made the House/Baitullah as a meeting/gathering place of mankind and as a sanctuary/safe place. And made a part of "Maqom Ibrohim"/the place Abraham stood, as a place of Solat/worship. 
صلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَعَهِدْنَآ إِلَى~ إِبْرَهِيمَ وَإِسْمَعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِىَ = "Wa 'A-hidd Na~~ I-la~~ Ibb-ro~hi~ma Wa Is-ma~'i~la Ant~Toh-hi-ro~ Bai-ti-ya",  "Wa" = And, " 'A-hidd" = assigned, "Na~" = We, "I-la~" = to, "Ibb-ro-hi~ma" = Abraham, "Wa" = and, "Is-ma~'i~la" = Ishmael, "An" = that, "Toh-hi-ro~" = to clean, "Bai-ti-ya" = My House,
لِلطَّآئِفِينَ وَاُلْعَكِفِينَ وَاُلرُّكَّعِِ اَلسُّجُودِ = "Lit-To~~i-fi~na Wal-'A~ki-fi~na War-Ruk-ka-'is-Su-ju~~dd".  "Li" = for, "at-To~~i-fi~na" = those who circumambulate, "Wa" = and, "al-'A~ki-fi~na" = those who sit, stay, "Wa" = and, "ar-Ruk-ka-'i" = those who bow, "as-Su-ju~di" = those who prostrate.
"Wa 'A-hidd Na~~ I-la~~ Ibb-ro~hi~ma Wa Is-ma~'i~la Ant~Toh-hi-ro~ Bai-ti-ya Lit-To~~i-fi~na Wal-'A~ki-fi~na War-Ruk-ka-'is-Su-ju~~dd".  = And We/Allah assigned Abraham and Ishmael by saying, "Clean My House for those who circumambulate (the Caaba), and for those who sit, stay (in the House), and those who bow and prostrate (performing the Solat).
(Allah informs us that the House/Baitullah is a place when Muslimin meet and gather. They come to the House, then they go and feeling that their wishes are not met, they come again, then go home, and then they come again. The House is also a sanctuary or a safe place for every body. There is no weapon in It. Even during pre-Islamic time, when people were looting and plundering, the House was not been plundered.
The Maqom Ibrohim is a place/a rock where Prophet Abraham a.s. stood when building the Caaba. It is situated in front of the Caaba. Aisyah r.a. reported that during the Prophet's s.a.w. and Abu Bakr's times, the Maqom was stuck on the Caaba. But when Umar became the Caliph, he moved it away from the Caaba as it is now. 
The place around the Maqom is sacred.
  Allah had appointed Abraham a.s. and his son, Ishmael a.s. to keep the House clean, free from all kinds of defilement, and dirt, and from idols, from foul talks, and lies, for people to perform "Towaf"/ circumambulate the Caaba, for people to sit and recite the Quran or to recite dzikir, for people to stay or to live in, and for people to "Rukuu"/bowing and "Sujud"/prostrating (performing Solat).

Let us now continue to look into the brief Chronicle of Prophet Jesus son of Mary a.s.:
  When the Children of Israel noticed that some of the lower class group were following Prophet Jesus a.s., they became worried and feared that in time, his a.s. teaching would spread far and wide. Thence, they, the Children of Israel were striving hard to make the Roman ruler be angry with Prophet Jesus a.s. But the teaching of the Prophet Jesus a.s. was only to influence people to be and to do good, and had nothing to do with politics. Thus, the Roman ruler  had left Prophet Jesus a.s. alone. 
The Jews did not stop trying. They then made a report to the Roman ruler that there was a man misleading the people, and forbidding them to be obedient to the Roman ruler and so forth. The Head of Roman Empire there was angered. He ordered that Prophet Jesus a.s. was to be caught and be put to death..
  In surah 3 Al-Imron, verse 55, Allah say, " (And remember) when Allah/Yahweh said, "O Jesus! I am taking you and raise you to Me and clear you away from the unbelievers, and shall make those who follow you above them until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me you will all return and I shall judge between you of things you dispute."
  Ibnu 'Abbas r.a. said, "When Yahweh wanted to raise Jesus a.s. to the heaven, he a.s. went to his a.s. disciples and at which time there were twelve "Hawariyyun"/disciples. He a.s. said, "Truly, among you there are some of you who had been twelve times heathens after having Faith with me." No one said a word. Then he a.s. said, " Is there anyone of you who is willing to have his look changed to mine and will take my place to be killed, and will be with me in my rank". The youngest of the lot stood up. Prophet Jesus a.s. said, "Sit.". Again Prophet Jesus a.s. repeated his quetion. The same young man stood up again. Prophet Jesus a.s. said, "Sit.". Prophet Jesus a.s. again repeated his quetion for the third time. And the same young man stood up. Prophet Jesus a.s. said, "You are the man". Then the young man's face changed to that of Jesus's face.
  While Prophet Jesus a.s. was being lifted up to the heaven from the ventilation opening of that house, the group of the Jews who were searching for Prophet Jesus a.s. came in and they could capture the young man with the look of Prophet Jesus's a.s. They then killed him and had him crucified. 
  Thence, some of the eleven remaining disciples who had been twelve times heathen to Prophet Jesus a.s. split up into three groups. One group said Prophet Jesus a.s. was Yahweh existed in their midth according to his wish and  then/at that moment had raised to the heavens. They were/are called the Yaaqubiyyah/Jacobin. The second group said that Prophet Jesus a.s. was a son of Yahweh who was with them according to his wish, and then was being raised up by Yahweh to Him. This group is the Nashturiyyah/Nestorian. And the third group  said that Prophet Jesus a.s. was the bondservant of Yahweh and he a.s. was the Messenger of Yahweh who was with them according to the will and the wish of Yahweh, then he a.s. was raised to Him s.w.t. This group was the Muslimin. The Jacobin and the Nestorian groups who were the unbelievers had been oppressing the Muslimin till most of them were killed. Thus, Islam, the Religion of Yahweh was always being wiped out and was being dimmed until Allah s.w.t. sent forth the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.". (narrated by Nasa-i from Abu Kuraib from Abu Mu'awiyah).
  Prophet Jesus son of Mary a.s. was with his people for three years and three months and three days.
