Recitation 274

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(120) وَلَن تَرْضَى عَنكَ اُلْيَهُودُ وَلَا اُلنَّصَرَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ قلى قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اُللهِ هُوَ اُلْهُدَى قلى وَلَئِنِ اُتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَهُم بَعْدَ اُلَّذِى جَآءَكَ مِنَ اُلْعِلْمِ لا مَا لَكَ مِنَ اُللهِ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
وَلَن تَرْضَى عَنكَ اُلْيَهُودُ وَلَا اَلنَّصَرَى = Wa Lant~Tarr-dho~ 'Ank~Kal-Ya-hu~du Wa Lan~Na-sho~ro~",  "Wa" = And, "Lan" = will not, "Tarr-dho~" = they be pleased, " 'An" = with, "Ka" = you, "al-Ya-hu~du" = the Jews, "Wa" = and, "La~" = not. "an~Na-sho~ro~" = the Christians,
حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ = "Hat-ta~  Tat-ta-bi-'a Mil-la-ta Hum".  "Hat-ta~" = until, "Tat-ta-bi-'a" = you follow, "Mil-la-ta" = religion, "Hum" = their.
"Wa Lant~Tarr-dho~ 'Ank~Kal-Ya-hu~du Wa Lan~Na-sho~ro~ Hat-ta~ Tat-ta-bi-'a Mil-la-ta Hum".  = The Jews and the Christians will never be pleased with you (O Muhammad) until you follow their religions.
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اُللهِ هُوَ اُلْهُدَى = "Qul In~na Hu-dal-Lohi Hu-wal-Hu-da~".  "Qul" =Say, "In~na" = truly, "Hu-da~" = guidance, "Al-Lohi" = Allah, "Hu-wa" = it is, "al-Hu-da~" = the guidance.
"Qul In~na Hu-dal-Lohi Hu-wal-Hu-da~".  = Say! "Truly, the guidance of Allah is the True guidance". 
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَلَئِنِ اُتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَ هُم بَعْدَ اُلَّذِي جَآءَكَ مِنَ اُلْعِلْمِ = "Wa La I-nit-Ta-baa-ta Ah-wa~~a Hum~Baa-dal-La-dzi~ Ja~~a Ka Mi-nal-'Il-mi",  "Wa" = And, "La In" = if indeed, "it-Ta-baa" = follow, "Ta" = you, "Ah-wa~~a" = desires, "Hum" = their, "Baa-da" = after, "al-La-dzi~" = which, "Ja~~a" = come to, "Ka" = you, "Mi-na" = from, of, "al-'il-mi" = the knowledge
لا = a Waqof Mamnuu = pause is prohibited.
مَا لَكَ مِنَ اُللهِ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ = "Ma~ La Ka Mi-nal-Lohi Miw~Wa-liy-yiw~Wa La~ Na-shi~~r".  "Ma~" = No, "La Ka" = for you, "Min" = from, "Al-Lohi" = Allah, "Min" = of, "Wa-liy-yin" = protector, "Wa La~" = nor, "Na-shi~rin" = helper. 
"Wa I-nit-Ta-baa-ta Ah-wa~~a Hum~Baa-dal-La-dzi~ Ja~~a Ka Mi-nal-'Il-mi Ma~ La Ka Mi-nal-Lohi Miw~Wa-liy-yiw~Wa La~ Na-shi~~r".  =  And if indeed, you follow/fulfil their desires after knowlege/Al-Quran and As-Sunnah has come to you, then, Allah will not be your Protector nor be your helper. 
(Allah informs and reminds the Prophet s.a.w. and also his followers, the Muslimin, that the Jews and the Christians will never consent nor allow them ever to be Muslimin, so do not find a way to make them consent nor be of the same course as them, but should concentrate on gaining Allah's pleasure by encouraging them/the Jews and the Christians to follow the Truth that the Prophet s.a.w. was sent to propagate. They, the Jews and the Christians will be pleased if and when you follow their way of life/religion. [Do we not see that most of the Muslimin are adapting their ways of life now?].
Allah says, "Truly, the guidance of Allah is the True guidance" means that truly the guidance that Allah has guided the Prophet s.a.w. is the correct and the true guidance, that is a sincere, correct, complete and perfect religion of Islam.
In the final phrase, Allah warns all Muslimin, so, please take heed! Allah says, "And if indeed you/Muslimin follow or fulfil their desires, after knowledge/the Quran and As-Sunnah has come to you, then, Allah (will abandon you and) will not be your protector nor your helper (unless after realising that you have done wrong, you beg for Allah's forgiveness and repent).

Let us now continue to look into the brief Chronicle of Prophet Jesus son of Mary a.s.:
Mary was shocked and was wondering what was the man doing in her room. Allah relates the incident in surah 18 Maryam verses 19 till 33. 
 (Mary said, "I seek refuge in the Compassionate One from you if you were God fearing.". The Man said, "I am only a messenger of your Lord, to give a guiltless son". Mary said, "How can I have a son when no man has touched me, nor am an adulteress". He/the Archangel Gabriel a.s. said, "Thus, your Lord says, "It is easy for Me, and that We make of him/you son a sign for Mankind and as a "Rohmah"/mercy from Us, and it is a thing fixed by decree.").
{In surah 3 Al-'Imron verses 45 and 47, Allah relates: "Remember when the Angel/Gabriel a.s. said, "O Maryam! Truly Yahweh/Allah is cheering you up (by the birth of a created son) of a Word from Him, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary. He shall be noble in the world and in the Hereafter, and shall be brought near (to Yahweh/Allah)." "Mary said, "Lord, how can I have a child when no man has touched me?" He replied, "Such is the will of Yahweh/Allah. He create whom He will. And when He decree a matter, He will only say, "Be!" And it exists."}.{In surah 21 al-Anbiaa verse 91, Allah says, "Therefore We/Yahweh breathed into her (womb), of Our spirit, and made her and her son a sign (of Our Great Power in creating anything) to all Mankind and to the Jinn."}.

("Thereupon, she conceived, and retired to a far-off place.").
As the time went by, her fetus had developed and began to move in her womb. Worrying about what people might say or talk about her being pregnant, she left Jerusalem for her own place of birth, Nazareth. There she lived in a small hut, far away from people. (She was, of course, at all time in the care of Yahweh. Food, fruits and drink were brought to her by the Archangel a.s.
  One day, she felt pain and knew that she was about to give birth to her child: (to be continued).
