Dear Quran Lovers,

Please refer to the text:
Wa Qo~lal-La-dzi~na La~ Yaa-la-mu~na",  "Wa" = And, "Qo~la" = say, "al-La-dzi~na" = who, "La~" = do not, "Yaa-la-mu~na" = they know,

"Wa Qo~lal-La-dzi~na La~ Yaa-la-mu~na Law La~ Yu-kal-li-mu Nal-Lohu Aw Taa-ti~ Na~~ A~yah".  = And the people who do not know/who do not have knowledge say, "Why do Allah not speak directly to us or bring forth some sign/show of power to us?"
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
كَذَلِكَ قَالَ اُلَّذِين مِن قَبْلِهٍِم مِّثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ = "Ka-dza~li-ka Qo~lal-La-dzi~na Minq~Qobb-li Him~Mith-la Qow-li Him".  "Ka-dza~li-ka" = so, "Qo~la" = say, "al-La-dzi~na" = who, "Min" = from, "Qobb-li" = before, "Him" = them, "Mith-la" = like, "Qow-li" = say, "Him" = their.

"Qodd Bai-yan~Nal-A~ya~ti Li Qow-miy~Yu~qi-nu~~n"  = Indeed, We/Allah have made clear/shown Our signs/Powers to those who are sure (that the Prophet s.a.w. is true).
(Allah informs us that the Pagan Arabs asked the Prophet s.a.w., "Why do Allah not tell us Himself about your prophetic O Muhammad, or He show us some of His sign/Powers". Such question had been asked by the Jews to Prophet Moses a.s. and other Prophets a.s. after him a.s., and by the Nazarenes to Prophet Jesus a.s. Their/the Pagan Arabs' hearts are similar to those of the Jews and the Nazarenes and to those whose hearts were/are full of disbelief, denial, and arrogance towards the Prophet s.a.w.
  Indeed, Allah have made clear and have shown His signs/Powers to His Messengers and to the Believers who were/are certain about and who acknowledged the Messengers of Allah, and who then obeyed and followed them and their teachings.).
(119) (to be continued).
                                   =====*****=====
Let us now look into the brief Chronicle History of Prophet Jesus s/o. Mary a.s. =('A-lai His-Salam = peace be upon him). The followings are based on and are adapted from the Quran, and the books: The Religion of Christian by Prof. Dr. Ahmad Shalaby, and The Religions Of The World by Ustaz Mohd Fauzi Hj. Awang.:
  About 800 years after Prophet Moses a.s., Prophet Zakariah a.s. married Asyiah daughter of Faqudza. While 'Imran, a prominent man in the Jewish community, married Hannah/Anne d/o Faqudza, Asyiah's sister. Faqudza was a good and pious man in the Jewish community.
Years had gone by, and Prophet Zakariah a.s. had become old, but had no offspring. Hannah too was becoming old and had not become pregnant once. One day, she saw a bird feeding her chicks. Hannah felt that she herself should have a child. So she made a vow that if Yahweh gave her a son, she would free him from doing work but would become a servant in a place of worship in Jerusalem. Then, not long after that she, Hannah conceived, and once again repeated her vow. Her husband, 'Imran said, "What if our child is a girl? A place of worship would never accept a girl in that place." That had made them both worried and grieved. Before Hannah gave birth to her child, her husband, 'Imran passed away.
  When the time came, Hannah gave birth to a baby girl and was given a name of Maryam/Mary. Hannah was disheartened. Thinking that the Place of Worship in Jerusalem would not accept her baby girl, she still went ahead with her desire to have her child serve the House of Yahweh in Jerusalem. She sent her baby girl to the House of Yahweh. And the people there accepted Mary, her tiny baby girl.
  The servers in the House were arguing as to whom the baby girl, Maryam, be given that she could be looked after properly. They had then decided to draw lots. And it was Prophet Zakariah a.s. who was given the honour to look after her. And Prophet Zakariah a.s. took care of and taught her well.
  As time went by, Prophet Zakariah a.s. saw  that Maryam was such a good girl and was very pious. (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers soon.
