Recitation 241

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(90) بِئْسَمَا اُشْتَرَوْاْ بِهِى~أَنفُسُهُمْ أَن يَكْفُرُواْ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ اُللهُ بَغْيًا أَن يُنَزِّلَ اللهُ مِن فَضْلِهِى عَلَى مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِى صلى فَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍ عَلَى غَضَبٍ ج وَلِلْكَفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ مُهِينٌ
بِئْسَمَا اَُشْتَرَوْاْ بِهِى~ أَنفُسَهُمْ أَن يَكْفُرُواْ = "Bii-sa Masy-ta-row Bi Hi~~ Anf~fu-sa Hum Ay~Yak-fu-ru~",  "Bii-sa" = Vile indeed, "Ma~" = what, "isy-ta-row" = to purchase, "Bi Hi~" = with it, "Anf~fu-sa" = selves, souls, "Hum" = their, "An" = that, "Yak-fu-ru~" = they disbelieve, deny,
بِمَآ أَنزَلَ اُللهُ بَغْيًا أَن يُنَزِّلَ اُللهُ = "Bi Ma~~ Anz~za-lal-Lohu Bagh-yan Ay~Yu-naz-zi-lal-Lohu",  "Bi Ma~" = with what, "Anz~za-la" = reveal, "Al-Lohu" = Allah, "Bagh-yan" = malice, spite, "An" = that, "Yu-naz-zila" = He reveals, "Al-Lohu" = Allah,
مِن فَضْلِهِى عَلَى مَن يَشَآءُ مِن عِبَادِهِ = "Minf~Fadh-li Hi~ 'A-la~ Mai-Ya-sya~~u Min 'I-ba~dih".  "Min" = from, of, "Fadh-li" = kindness, "Hi~" = His, " 'A-la~" = upon, "Man" = who, "Ya-sya~~u" = He wishes, "Min" = from, " 'I-ba~di" = bondservants, "Hi~" = His.
"Bii-sa Masy-ta-row Bi Hi~~ Anf~fu-sa Hum Ay~Yak-fu-ru~ Bi Ma~~ Anz~za-lal-Lohu Bagh-yan Ay~Yu-naz-zi-lal-Lohu Minf~Fadh-li Hi~ 'A-la~ Mai~Ya-sya~~u Min 'I-ba~dih". = Vile indeed, they trade their souls that they deny (the Scripture) which Allah had revealed. In spite that Allah had sent down His kindness to His bondservants of His choosing.
صلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
فَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍ عَلَى غَضَبٍ = "Fa Ba~~u~ Bi GHo-dho-bin 'A-la~ GHo-dhobb".  "Fa" = Then, "Ba~~u~" = return, ought, "Bi" = with, "GHo-dho-bin" = anger, " 'A-la~" = upon, "GHo-dho-bin" = anger.
"Fa Ba~~u~ Bi GHo-dho-bin 'A-la~ GHo-dhobb" = Thus, they ought to be incurred anger upon anger.
ج = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَلِلْكَفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ = "Wa Lil-Ka~fi-ri~na 'A-dza~bum~Mu-hi~~n".  "Wa" = And, "Li" = for, "al-Ka~fi-ri~na" = the disbelievers, " 'A-dza~bun" = torment, punishment, "Mu-hi~nun" = shameful.
"Wa Lil-Ka~fi-ri~na "A-dza~bum~Mu-hi~~n". = and upon the disbelievers is a shameful punishment.
(Vile/Evil and low indeed were the dispositions of the Children of Israel for trading their fate to become disbelievers only because they were spiteful when seeing Allah had chosen the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. and had given him s.a.w. a Scripture, the Quran. Thence they had incurred Allah's anger upon anger, firstly because they denied the Torah which was in their possessions, and secondly because they deny the Prophet s.a.w. and the Quran. Thus, for all those who disbelieve in the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. and the Quran is a shameful punishment awaits them).

Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
   (2) Solat:  The Dzikir and the Doa after Solat Fardhu:
   (xvii) The Manner to Entreat that will gain Allah's approval:
   (i) When entreating, face towards the Qiblat. Eyesights downwards.
   (ii) Entreat with a soft voice, be engrossed in it, and humbly.
   (iii) Raise both hands to the in front of both shoulders with both palms upwards (as if we are accepting something large. If we close our palms, it shows that we are not earnest, we are just playing the fool [play-play]). 
   (iv) Recite: A 'U~dzu Bil-Lahi Minasy-Syaito~nir-Roji~m.
  (v) Recite: Bismil-Lahir-Rohma~nir-Rohi~m.
  (vi) Recite: (a) Al-Hamdu Lil-Lahi Rob-bil-'A~lami~n. (b)
        Wash-Sho-la~tu Was-Sa-la~mu 'A-la~ Sai-yi-di Na~ Muhammad Wa 'A-la~ A~li Hi Wa Shoh-bi Hi~ Wa Sal-lim. (c) Al-Lohum~ma In~ni~ As-a-lu Ka Wa A-ta-was-sa-lu I-lai Ka Ya~ AlLoh 3 times, Ya~ Rohma~n 3 times, Ya~ Rohi~m 3 times, Ya~ Al-Loh, Ya~ A~ha-du, Ya~ Sho-ma-du, Ya~ Lam Ya-lidd, Wa Lam Yu~ladd, Wa Lam Ya-kul-la Hu~ Ku-fu-wan A-hadd. (d) Rob-ba Na~ : "..... your requests". (e) Bi Roh-ma-ti Ka Ya~ Ar-ha-mar- Ro~himi~n. (f) Wa Shol-lal-Lohu 'A-la~ Sai-yi-di Na~ Muham- madiw Wa 'A-la~ A~li Hi Wa Shoh-bi Hi Wa Sal-lim. (g) Sub-ha~na Rob-bi Ka Rob-bil-'Iz-za-ti 'Am~ma~ Ya-shi-fu~n. Wa Sa-la~mun 'A-lal-Mur-sa-li~n. Wal-Ham-du Lil-Lahi Rob-bil-'A~la-mi~n". (h) A~mi~n.
    (vii) Wipe the face with both hands.
