Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to look into the explanation of surah 83 surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam):
  The good deeds:
(viii) Zakat: Zakat is a portion of wealth entitled to Allah which is in the possession of a well-to-do person, and it /the portion of wealth should be given to the poor. That portion of wealth is called Zakat because it contains the hope for gaining Barokah/blessing and good fortune from Allah, self-cleansing (of sin) and increasing and addition of goodness including wealth (to the well-to-do person).
From Ali r.a. who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "Truly, Allah has made obligatory on rich Muslim (to give/pay) from their wealth, a required amount for the necessity for the poor and the needy Muslim. The poor and the needy will not be left in hunger nor in lack of clothing unless the rich people among them take care of them. Truly, Allah will take account of that, seriously in the Judgment Day (if the rich people fail to take care of them) and will
punish them with severe punishment". (narrated by Tibroni).
Only those Muslim who are independent/not slaves, having "Nishob"/minimal amount on the wealth which is/are obligated to pay Zakat and that minimal amount must be fixed, and does not become less at any time, during the period of one year, are obligated to pay Zakat (about 2.5% of the wealth), and not otherwise.
(We shall look into this duty/Zakat comprehensively in the future, insya Allah).
Allah had these eight covenants with the Children of Israel, but they, then, broke their promises. And so were the Children of Israel during the Prophet Muhammad's s.a.w. time, they too broke their promise and they backslided (into wrong).
The above mentioned eight good deeds are Fardhu/duty of every Muslim and if observed, then the Paradise is his/hers to enter and to dwell in It forever and ever.
(84) (to be continued).

Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
  (2) Solat:  The Ritual of Solat, the Fardhu and the Sunnah:
  (xx) (Fardhu) Make Salam:
When completing the Final Tasyahhud, that is after entreat  the Doa, (Fardhu) turn the head to the right side while the eyes are cast downwards, and (Fardhu) make Salam, say, "As-Sa-la~mu 'Alai Kum Wa Roh-ma-tul-Lohi Wa Ba-ro-ka~tuh". Then (Sunnah) to turn the face to the left side, and (Sunnah) to make Salam, "As-Sala~mu 'Alai Kum Wa Rohmatul-Lohi Wa Baroka~tuh". Thus, the Solat is completed.
[In Malaysia, we see the locals nod their heads before making Salam and in between the two Salam. I could not find any report that it is Sunnah nodding the heads. (b) They also put their hands on their heads after the second Salam and wipe their faces. I also could not find any "Nash"/authoritative quotation on this.].
(xxi) Dzikr and Doa Made After Salam Are Made: (to be continued).
