ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to look into the explaination of verse 83 in surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam).
The Good Deeds: (iii) To act and behave with good deeds towards relatives: The relatives are persons who belong to the same family as another, or who have blood relationship of the parents, such as father, mother (they are of a very special class in Islam, and we have looked into it, before), brother, sister, uncle, aunt, grand parents and so forth), and by marriage, such as husband, wife, children, parent-in-laws and so on. A son must be obedient to the parents. A daughter when is under the care of the parents must obey the parents, but when she is married, her obedience is to her husband, (this will be looked into in the future). To our relatives it is our duty to maintain good relationship and not to have any misunderstanding or quarrel with them, and must not cut off the ties of Uterine relationship with them.
The Hadith from Jubair ibnu Mut'im r.a. who said, " The Prophet s.a.w. said, "Those who cut off the Uterine relationship (with another) will not enter the Paradise". (narrated by Muslim).
From Anas ibnu Malik, who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "Those who like their Rizqi/means of livelihood, fortune, the blessing of Allah and wealth, be unfolded/spread out, and his/her name will not be forgotten (even after demise), then he/she should unite, or join together the Uterine relationship with others, or where the ties of friendship is cut off, rejoin it.". (narrated by Muslim)
From Anas ibnu Malik, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "All of you, Muslim, must not hate or dislike one another. Must not bear grudge against, or be jealous of another. Must not act like enemies, or fight against one another. And all of you must be the bondservants of Allah who are brothers. It is not Halal/lawful a Muslim to cut off the Uterine relationship from his brother in Islam for more than three days.".
From Abu Huroiroh r.a. who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, " Keep away from have suspicion and doubting others because suspicion is a very deceitful tale. Do not ever search and find fault of others. Do not be jealous, nor be envious, nor hate, nor fight against one another. And all of you must be the bondservants of Allah who are brothers." (narrated by Muslim).
(iv) To act and behave with good deeds towards the orphans: (to be continued).

Let us now look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
  (2) Solat: The Ritual of Solat, Both the Fardhu and the Sunnah:
(xiii) Sujud: Those who are not able to stand upright in performing  Solat, may sit either on a chair or a stool, or on the floor, kneeling, or like sitting for Tasyahhud, on the left foot with the right foot erected, or in whatever way is comfortable. When Rukuu, he should use his head as a sign, to bend down his head a little. And when Sujud, the head is bent lower than that of the Rukuu.
When sitting is not possible, he should lie on his right side and the whole body facing the Qiblat. And when lying on the side is not possible, he should lie on his back with his feet towards the Qiblat. When lying, use the movement of the head for Rukuu and for Sujud. The Sujud is lower than that of the Rukuu.
In surah 4 An-Nisaa, verse 103, Allah says, "When your Solat is performed, remember Allah, standing, sitting and lying down".
Imron ibnu Hushoin said, "I was taken ill and I asked the Prophet s.a.w. about me performing solat (when I am ill). He s.a.w. said, "Solat in a standing position, if you cannot stand, sit, and if you cannot sit, then lie on your (right) side". (narrated by Jamaah except Muslim. And Nasa-i added, "If you cannot, then lie on your back").
Ali said that the Prophet s.a.w. said, "People who are sick should perform Solat standing, if he cannot, then sit. And if he cannot Sujud, he should make a sign with his head, and his Sujud is lower than his Rukuu. (When sitting down, perform the Rukuu by bending the body, about 45ْ. Then when Sujud as usual. But if he cannot Sujud as usual, he should use his head as a sign by bending low for Rukuu, and for Sujud, bend the head lower than that of the Rukuu). If he cannot sit, lie on the right side facing the Qiblat. If he cannot, then lie on his back with his feet towards the Qiblat. (And use the head as the sign for Rukuu and for Sujud which is lower than the Rukuu)". ( narrated by Daruqutni).
A number of Ulama was of the opinion that when a sick person cannot do the sign by bending the head for Rukuu and for Sujud, then he is not obligated to perform Solat al all.
(xiv) (Fardhu) Sitting down in between 2 Sujud: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
