أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to look into the explanation of verse 83 in surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam).
The Good Deeds: (v) To act and behave with good deeds towards the poor and the needy:
In Islam, the poor and the needy are called either "Faqir" or "Miskin".
The Prophet s.a.w. defined "Faqir" as very poor person who does not have enough daily necessity, for himself and his family members, in food and drink, clothing, place to stay, vehicle, job and so forth.
While "Miskin" is he who is poor but would not beg, nor his condition of being poor is unknown by others. He would work very hard to make both ends meet. Abu Huroiroh r.a. said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "A miskin person is not a person who goes home because he had received one or two date fruits, or one or two bites (of food). He is truly a person who does not want to beg. Do refer to surah 2, Al-Baqoroh verse 273, " They do not beg importunately.".
Thus, to these people, we, the people do have enough money or wealth, should be kind to them in words and in actions. If need be, help them with whatever they need. From Abu Huroiroh r.a. who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "Giving alms/charity will not decrease one's wealth/money, and by forgiving others, Allah increases one's glory. And a person who humbles himself before Allah will be made higher in his rank or status by Allah." (narrated by Muslim).
From Salim's father, who said, "The prophet s.a.w. said, "A Muslim is a brother/sister to other Muslim. He/She must not be ill-treated and must not let him/her in suffering, or in difficulty. Those who deliver him/her from his/her suffering, or difficulty, with his/her need, or necessity, Allah will deliver them with their needs, or necessities.
Those who release a Muslim from his difficulty, Allah will release them their difficulties, among which will be their difficulty in the Judgment Day. Those who cover or keep to themselves a secret of other Muslim, Allah will definitely keep their secrets in the Judgment Day".( narrated bu Muslim).
(vi) To speak to people nicely: (to be continued).
                                       oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
  (2) Solat: The Ritual of Solat, Both the Fardhu and the Sunnat:
(xvii) (Fardhu) Sit For the First Tasyahhud: (In the book Subulus Salam, there is a Hadith showing that the Prophet s.a.w. had left out the first Tasyahhud due to forgetfulness (Allah made him s.a.w. forget, to show Muslim what should be done when they forget to perform a Fardhu in a Solat), it/the first Tasyahhud is replaced by Sujud Sahwi. And the Prophet s.a.w. said, 'Perform Solat as you see me perform it', is the proof that first Tasyahhud is Wajib/obligatory to be performed. This is also one of the opinions of Asy-Syafiei, and also of Hanafi, and Ahmad. Tibroni had used this Hadith, that it is Wajib).
When raise from the second Sujud, while (Sunnah) uttering "Al-Lohu Akbar", sit (Sunnah) on the bent left foot towards the right and the right foot is erected with the toes pointing towards the Qiblat. Both hands are placed on the thighs near the knees.
(Fardhu) Recite: either, "(a) At-ta-hiy-ya~tu Lil-Lah. Wash-Sho-la-wa~tu Wat-Toi-yi-ba~tu Lil-Lah.", or (b) "At-Ta-hiy-ya~tul-Mu-ba~ro-ka~tush-Sho~la-wa~tut-Toi-yi-ba~tu Lil-Lah".  Then, "As-sa-la~mu 'A-lai Na~ Wa 'A-la~ 'I-ba~dil-Lahish-
sho~li-hi~n. Asy-ha-du Al-La~ I-la~ha Il-Lal-Loh. Wa Asy-ha-du An~na Mu-ham~ma-dan 'Ab-du-hu~ Wa Ro-su~luh".
(xviii) (Fardhu) Stand up to perform the third Rokaat: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers soon.
