Recitation 233

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers, 
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذبالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(83) وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَقَ بَنِى~إِسْرَ~ءِيلَ لَا تَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا اُللهَ وَ بِاُلْوَلِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَذِى اُلْقُرْبَى وَاُلْيَتَمَى وَاُلْمَسَكِينِ وَقُولُواْ لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا وَأَقِيمُواْ اُلصَّلًوةَ وَءَاتُواْ اُلزَّكَوةَ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِّنكُمْ وَأَنْتُم 

مُّعْرِضُونَ
(Note: (i) When ا , و, ى are unmarked, either with above sign َ ,or with below sign ِ  ,or with front sign ُ , they are Madd. (ii) When they are marked with silent sign ْ = اْ , وْ , ىْ , they are useless extra letters, are not pronounced. (iii) When, و , ى are marked with a tiny Alif, ا , they, و , ى are unpronounced because they are the bearer letters upon which the tiny Alif, ا stands). 
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَقَ بَنِى~إِسْرَ~ءِيلَ = "Wa Idz A-khodz Na~ Mi~tha~qo Ba-ni~~ Is-ro~~i~la",  "Wa Idz" = And when, "A-khodz" = obtain, "Na~" = We, "Mi~tha~qo" =  covenant, agreement, "Ba-ni~" = children, descendant, "Is-ro~~i~la" = Israel,
لَا تَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا اُللهَ = "La~ Taa-bu-du~na Il-lal-Loha", "La~" = not to, "Taa-bu-du~na" = all of you worship, "Il-la~" = except, "Al-Loha" = Allah,
وَبِاُلْوَلِدَيْنِ إِحَسَانًا = "Wa Bil-Wa~li-dai-ni Ih-sa~nan", =  "Wa Bi" = and with, to, "al-Wa~li-dai-ni" = the both parents, "Ih-sa~nan" = act with good deeds,
وَذِى اُلْقُرْبَى وَاُلْيَتَمَى وَاُلْمَسَكِينِ = "Wa DZil-Qurr-ba~ Wal-Ya-ta~ma WAl-Ma-sa~ki~ni",  "Wa" = and also to, "Dzil-Qurr-ba~" = the relatives, "wa" = and to, "al-Ya-ta~ma~" = the orphans, "Wa" = and to, "al-Ma-sa~ki~ni" = the poor and the needy,
وَقُولُواْ لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا = "Wa Qu~lu~ Lin~Na~si Hus-nan", "Wa" = and, "Qu~lu~" = all of you speak, "Li" = to, "an~Na~si" = the people, mankind, "Hus-nan" = nicely,
وَأَقِيمُواْ اُلصَّلَوةَ وَءَاتُواْ اُلزَّكَوةَ =  "Wa A-qi~mush-SHo-la~ta Wa A~tuz-Za-ka~ta",  "Wa A-qi~mu~" = and all of you establish, perform, "ash-SHo-la~ta" = the Solat/prayers, "Wa A~tu~" = and all of you give, pay, "az-Za-ka~ta" = the Zakat/poor dues,
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِّنكُمْ وَأَنتُم مُّعْرِضُونَ "THum~ma Ta-wal-lai Tum Il-la~ Qo-li~lam~mink~Kum Wa Ant~Tum~Muu-ri-dhu~~n".
"THum~ma" = then, "Ta-wal-lai" = turn away/backslide, "Tum" = all of you, "Il-la~" = except, "Qo=li~lan" = a few, "Min" = from, of, "Kum" = all of you, "Wa" = and, "Ant~Tum" = really all of you are, "Muu-ri-dhu~na" = turning away/backsliders.
"Wa Idz A-khodz Na~ Mi~tha~qo Ba-ni~~ Is-ro~~i~la La~ Taa-bu-du~na Il-lal-Loha Wa Bil-Wa~li-dai-ni Ih-sa~naw~Wa DZil-Qur-ba~ Wal-Ya-ta~ma Wal-Ma-sa~ki~ni Wa Qu~lu~ Lin~Na~si Hus-naw~Wa A-qi~mush-SHo-la~ta Wa A~tuz-Za-ka~ta THum~ma Ta-wal-lai Tum Il-la~ Qo-li~lam~Mink~Kum Wa Ant~Tum~Muu-ri-dhu~~n".  =  And (remeber) when We/Allah obtained a covenant/an agreement with the Children of Israel that they are not to worship (any other god) except Allah/Yahweh, and (that they are) to act/behave with good deeds towards the both parents (mother and father), and towards the relatives and the orphans and the poor and the needy people. And they are to speak to people nicely. And they to establish/perform Solat/prayers and to give/pay Zakat/poor dues. Then (after making the covenant) all of you except a few have turned away/backslid. And all of you are backsliding (to wrong/sin).
(This verse, Allah tells us what a Believer should do in order to be able to enter and dwell in the Paradise. These are the teachings of the Religion of Allah, Islam, as He/Allah had taught the Children of Israel during the era of Prophet Moses a.s. and the era of Prophet Isa/Jesus son of Mary a.s. (But not the era of the Christian which is reckoned from about eight years after Prophet Isa/Jesus a.s. was being ascended/risen up to the second heaven, when an evil Jew of Firisi tribe, named Saul, then changed his name to Paulus had created a religion  of Trinity, and had promoted Jesus a.s. from an ordinary human being, a Messenger and a Prophet of Allah/Yahweh to the Son of God and is also the Lord of the Christians. [Please refer to the book, "Religions of the World" written by Mr. Gerald Berry.]. Thus Christians are not the followers of Prophet Jesus a.s. but of Saul Paulus, and they are not Believers. They do not believe in Allah/Yahweh but they believe in their Lord Jesus Christ. Their symbol is the Cross/crucifix).
Allah taught the Children of Israel and also the Muslim (i) not to worship other than Allah, the  One and Only God, Himself. (Christianity worship Trinity/the Union of Father, Son and Holy Gost in one divine nature {which in Islam this is called Syirik/polytheism}, but Islam, the Religion of Allah, worship Monotheos/One God. How could they, the Christians claim that Allah is their Lord, while they always pray: "Our Lord Jesus Christ!" and make the sign of a Cross to their upper part of their body?!).

Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
  (2) Solat: The Ritual of Solat, Both the Fardhu and the Sunnah:
  (xi) (Fardhu) Rukuu/bowing. (a) (Sunnah) To raise both hands to the shoulders like that of the Takbirotul-Ihrom and utter , "Al-lohu Akbar". [Note: It is a sin to say, "Al-lo  Hu Akbar" because "Al-lo" means Hello, "Hu" means him or his, and they do not mean "Al-Lohu"]. (b) (Fardhu) Rukuu/bowing with the upper body is bent at the waist and is parallel to the floor. Both hands are placed on both knees, with the arms straight at the elbows. (Sunnah) To recite, "Subb-ha~na Rob-bi-yal-'A-dzi~mi Wa Bi Ham-dih. Al-Lohum~magh-fir Li~ Wa Li Wa~li-yai-ya."
