أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to look into the explaination of verse No. 83 of surah 2 Al-Baqoroh:
(In order to be able to enter and to dwell in the Paradise in the Hereafter, we must believe in Allah and the Hereafter and at the same time to do good deeds: They are (i) Not to worship other than Allah the Creator and the Owner of the whole creation. Allah will not forgive those who worship other than Him nor those who ascribe partner/s to Him. For He, Allah is One and Only who has no parent nor son nor daughter nor anyone is His equal.
(ii) To act and behave with good deeds towards both parents, and Allah does not command us to do good deeds "towards both parents who are Believers", but just, "Both parents" (be they Believers or otherwise). To obey the parents is a Fardhu/duty, but if the parent, or parents ask us to do things that are Haram in Islam, then we must not obey.
The Hadith from Abu Huroiroh r.a. said, "A man came to the Prophet s.a.w. and asked, "Who must I mix and always be on good terms with?". The Prophet s.a.w. replied, "Your mother." The man asked, "Then who?". The Prophet s.a.w. said, "Your mother". "Then who?" "Your mother." "Then who?". The Prophet s.a.w. replied, "Then your father". (narrated by Muslim).
From Abdullah ibnu Amru r.a. who said, "A man went to the Prophet s.a.w. asking to be allowed to go to the battle field with the Prophet s.a.w. The Prophet s.a.w. asked, "Are your both parents still alive?" The man replied, "Yes (they are)". The Prophet s.a.w. said, "Then you should perform your "Jihad"/holy war for the good of them both (and not on the battle field)". (narrated by Muslim).
From Abu Huroiroh r.a. said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "Woe is he! Then woe is he! And then woe is he!". A man asked, "Who is he, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet s.a.w. replied, "Those who have parents when they are of very old age, either one or both them, and the men will not enter the Paradise (for not taking good care of their parents)". (narrated by Muslim).
From Abdullah ibnu Umar r.a. who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "The best of the good deeds is to fasten the "Silatu-Rohim"/ties/
bond of Uterine friendship/relationship with those loved by his parents". (narrated by Muslim).
(iii) To act and behave with good deeds towards the relatives: (to be continued).
                                     oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
   (2) Solat: The Ritual of Solat, Both the Fardhu and the Sunnah:
   (xii) (Fardhu) Iitidal/straightness:
After reciting the Dzikir in the Rukuu, straighten your body and (Sunnah) to raise your hands to the shoulder, like that in the Takbirotul-Ihrom, and at the same time, say, "Sa-mi-'al-Lohu Li Man Hami-dah".
When the body is straightened, put down both hands to the sides, while (Sunnah) reciting, "Rob-ba Na~ Wa La Kal-Ham-du. Ham-dank~Ka-thi~ront~Toi-yi-bam~Mu-ba~ro-kanf~Fih.".

(xiii) (Fardhu) Sujud. (Sunnah) To recite, "Al-Lohu Ak-bar" while kneeling on both knees, the hands may be placed on both thighs, or by the sides, which ever is convenient. Then place your hands, and your face/the eyebrows and the nose on the floor. The hands are placed in front of the shoulders beside the ears. (If possible) The elbows are apart from the body (make sure that the seven bones are placed on the floor, i.e. the eyebrows and the nose, (ii) 2 palms, (iii) 2 knees and (iv) 2 feet/sole of the toes). The toes are pointing towards the Qiblat. To recite Dzikir: "Sub-ha~na Rob-bi-yal-'Aa-la~ Wa Bi Ham-dih. Al-Lohum~magh-fir Li~ Wa Li Wa~li-yai-ya". (If we have any wish to ask for, if it is non-Arabic, entreat it in the heart). [We Sujud only to our Lord, Allah and nothing else. When Sujud, we are closest to Allah, thus it is Haram to Sujud at people facing us, or at people passing in front of us without any barrier of at least one foot high. Do we not see some Muslim people who were so happy in winning something that they knelt and Sujud while there were people in front of them and without any barrier. May Allah have Mercy on and forgive them and forgive us because no one reminded them that it was wrong to do so].
(xiv) (Fardhu) Sitting down: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
