Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذبالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(82) وَاُلََّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ اُلصَّلِحَتِ أُوْلَئِكَ اَصْحَبُ اُلْجَنَّةِ صلى هُمْ فِيهَا خَلِدُونَ
وَاُلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ اُلصَّلِحَتِ = "Wal-La-dzi~na A~ma-nu~ Wa 'A-mi-lush-SHo~li-ha~ti",  "Wa" = And, "al-La-dzi~na" = who, "A~ma-nu~" = believe, "Wa" = and, " 'A-mi-lu~" = do, "ash-SHo~li-ha~ti" = the good deeds,
أُوْلَئِكَ أَصْحَبُ اُلْجَنَّةِ = "U-la~~i-ka Ash-ha~bul-Jan~nah". "U-la~~i-ka" = these are, "Ash-ha~bu" = dwellers of, "al-Jan~na-ti" = the Paradise.
"Wal-La-dzi~na A~ma-nu~ Wa 'A-mi-lush-SHo~li-ha~ti U-la~~i-ka Ash-ha~bul-Jan~nah". = And those who believe and (at the same time) do good deeds, these are the dwellers of the Paradise.
صلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
هُمْ فِيهَا خَلِدُونَ = "Hum Fi~ Ha~ KHo~li-du~~n".  "Hum" = They are, "Fi~ Ha~" = in it, "KHo~li-du~na" = eternally.
"Hum Fi~ Ha~ KHo~li-du~~n".  = They will be there eternally.
(A person should not only believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Hereafter and that good and bad fortunes are Predestinated by Allah, but also should also do good deeds as will be mentioned in the next verse, 83, then, the person will be the dweller of the Paradise eternally in the Hereafter.).
(83) (to be continued).
                                   oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
  (2) Solat: The Ritual Of Solat, Both the Fardhu and the Sunnah:
(iv) Hands Down, (Sunnah) to place the left hand on the belly and the right hand on the left wrist. [If we see people stand with their hands down beside them, they are of Maliki, because they saw their teacher, Imam Malik did not fold his hands on the belly because he had ache and pain in his arms and could not fold his hands to the belly].
   (v) (Sunnah) To recite Doa Iftitah: such as, "Allohu Akbar (3x), Wal-Hamdulil-Lahi Ka-thi~ro~ (3x), Wa Shub-ba~nal-Lohi Buk-ro-taw~Wa A-shi~la~ (3x), Al-Lohum~ma In~ni~ A-'u~ dzu Bi Ka Mi-nasy-Syai-to~nir-Roji~m, Min Ham-zi Hi Wa Naf-thi Hi Wa Naf-khih. Sub-ha~na Kal-Lo~hum~ma Wa Bi Ham-di Ka Wa Ta-ba~ro-kas-mu Ka Wa Ta-'a~la Jad-du Ka Wa La~ I-la~ha Ghoi-ruk." or any other Doa of your liking (should be in Arabic taught by the Prophet s.a.w. or from verses of the Quran).
(vi) (Sunnah) To recite Is-ti-'a~dzah before reciting the surah Fatihah: "A 'U~dzu Bil-Lahi Minasy-Syai-to~nir-Rojim~m".
(vii) (Fardhu) To recite surah Al-Fatihah. (The Basmalah: Bis-mil-Lahir-Roh-ma~nir-Rohi~m, is one of the verses in Al-Fatihah. From Abi Huroiroh r.a. said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "When you recite Al-Fatihah, recite BismilLahir-Rohma~nir-Rohi~m because it is one of the verses". (narrated by Daroqutni). [In Solat Zhuhur and  'Ashor, Al-Fatihah and the verses or the surah after it are recited softly, except in Solat Jumaat and the two 'Idd].
(viii) (Sunnah) To recite "A~mi~~n" or "A~~mi~~n" after completing Al-Fatihah.
(ix) (Sunnah) To recite verses of the Quran or a surah. [Only in the first and the second Rokaat. In the third and in the fourth Rokaat, it is not Sunnah but Makruh to recite any verse of the Quran].
{When following an Imam, Makmum/followers must recite the Fatihah and the verses by themselves because they cannot hear the Imam}.
  (x) (Sunnah) To raise both hands to the shoulders (like that of the Takbirotul-Ihrom) and recite Takbir, "AlLohu Akbar".
(xi) (Fardhu) Rukuu/bowing: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
