Recitation 234

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(84) وَإذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَقَكُمْ لَا تَسْفِكُونَ دِمَآءَكُمْ وَلَا تُخْرِجُونَ أَنفُسَكُم مِّن دِيَرِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَشْهَدُونًَ
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَقَكُمْ = "Wa Idz A-khodz Na~ Mi~tha~qo Kum",  "Wa" = And, "Idz" = when, "A-khodz" = obtain, "Na~" = We, "Mi~tha~qo" = covenant/agreement, "Kum" = all of you,
لَا تَسْفِكُونَ دِمَآءَ كُمْ = "La~ Tas-fi-ku~na Di-ma~~a Kum",  "La~" = no, do not, "Tas-fi-ku~na" = to shed, "Di-ma~~a" = blood, "Kum" = all of you,
 وَلَا تُخْرِجُونَ أَنفُسَكُم مِّن دِيَرِكُمْ = "Wa La~ Tukh-ri-ju~na Anf~fu-sa Kum~Mind~Di-ya~ri Kum",  "Wa La~" = and do not, "Tukh-ri-ju~na" = you expel, drive away, "Anf~fu-sa" = selves, "Kum" = your, "Min" = from, "Di-ya~ri" = homes, residences, "Kum" = your,
ثُمَّ أَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ = "THum~ma Ant~tum Aqq-ror Tum Wa Ant~tum Tasy-ha-du~~n".  "THum~ma" = then, "Aqq-ror" = to consent, "Tum" = all of you, "Wa" = and, "Ant~tum" = all of you, "Tasy-ha-du~na" = bear witness.
"Wa Idz A-khodz Na~ Mi~tha~qo Kum La~ Tas-fi-ku~na Di-ma~~a Kum Wa La~ Tukh-ri-ju~na Anf~fu-sa Kum~Mind~Di-ya~ri Kum THum~ma Aqq-ror Tum Wa Ant~tum Tasy-ha-du~~n". = And (remember) when We/Allah obtained your covenant/agreement that you do not shed your (people's, relatives') blood/killing each other, and you do not drive yourselves/your relatives away from your/their homes. Then all of you have consented and all of you have borne witness (to it/the covenant).
(Again Allah reminds the Children of Israel {and also the Muslim} not to kill one another (and among the Muslim) [but today we do see Muslim are killing each other]. And they must not drive their people/relatives away from their homes [but we do see today, a few Muslim who are sore losers are trying hard to oust the winner by force. But Allah forbids it, Alhamdulillah].
From Abu Huroiroh r.a. said that the Prophet s.a.w. said, "Whosoever carry weapons to fight us/Muslim, then they are not one of us/Muslimin. And those who deceive us are also not one of us." (narrated by Muslim).

Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
   (2) Solat. The Ritual of Solat, the Fardhu and the Sunnah:
   The Prophet s.a.w. after making the second Salam, recited:
   (i) ِأَشْهَدْ أَن لَآ إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَالرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيم = "Asy-ha-du Al-La~ I-la~ha Il-la~ Hu-war-Roh-ma~nur-Ro-hi~m" = (I bear witness that there is no other God but Him, the Most Compassionate the Most Merciful). اُللهُمَّ أَذْهِبْ عَنِّى الْهَمَّ وَالْحَزَنَ = "Al-Lohum~ma Adz-hib 'An~nil-Ham~ma Wal-Ha-zan". =  (O Allah free me from grieve, worry and from sadness.) and wipe his face with his hands. (narrated by Ibnu Sunni).
  (ii) أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ الْعَظِيمَ الَّذِى لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَىُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ = "As-tagh-fi-rul-Lohal-'A-zhi~m. Al-La-dzi~ La~ I-la~ha Il-la~ Hu-wal-Hai-yul-Qoi-yu~mu Wa A-tu~bu I-laih" 3 times = (I beg Allah the Greatest for forgiveness. There is no other God but He, the Alive, the Eternal, and towards Him I relent.). (narrated by Muslim).
  (iii) اللهمَّ أَنتَ السَّلامُ وَمِنكَ السَّلامُ. تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَالْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ = "Al-Lohum~ma An~tas-Sa-la~mu Wa Mink~Kas-Sa-la~m", = (O Allah! You are the Peace. And the Peace is from You), 
"Ta-ba~rok Ta Ya~ Dzal-Ja-la~li Wal-Ik-ro~m" = (Blessed be You O (Allah) Full of Majesty and Kindness). (narrated by Jamaah).
