أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Yesterday's report was that there were earth quakes in China and Auckland, N. Z. And a few days back, Sumatra, Indonesia was hit.
Let us recite the surah Yasin and Its doa that the earth would cool down, and Allah have Mercy on us all. Thank you.
Let us now continue recite surah 67, As-Sajadah. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(12) إِنَّ اُلِّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِاُلْغَيْبِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌكَبِيرٌ
إِنَّ اُلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ = "In~nal-La-dzi~na Yakh-syaw-na", "In~na" = Truly, "al-La-dzi~na" = those who, "Yakh-syow-na" = fear
رَبَّهُم بِاُلْغَيْبِ = "Rob-ba Hum~Bil-GHoi-bi", "Rob-ba" = Lord, "Hum" = their, "Bi" = though, "al-GHoi-bi" = the unseen
لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌكَبِيرٌ = "La Hum~Magh-fi-ro-tuw~Wa Ajj-runk~Ka-bi~~r". "La Hum" = for them, "Magh-fi-ro-tun" = forgiveness, "Wa Ajj-run" = and reward, "Ka-bi~run" = great.
"In~nal-La-dzi~na Yakh-syaw-na Rob-ba Hum~Bil-GHoi-bi La Hum~Magh-fi-ro-tuw~Wa Ajj-runk~Ka-bi~~r". = Truly, those who fear Allah (fear to violate His commandments: i.e. a man was urged by a high class and wealthy woman to have sex, but he refused, saying that he feared Allah, and a man who gave alms to the needy without anyone knew about it, and those who abstain themselves from comitting sin/breaking Allah's Law, and carry out fidelity/piety unknowingly and unnoticed by other people) even though their Lord is unseen to them. For them will be forgiveness and great reward (from their Lord).
Wa A-sir-ru~ Qow-la Kum A-wijj-ha-ru~", "Wa A-sir-ru~" = And keep secret, "Qow-la" = utterance, "Aw" = or, "ijj-ha-ru~" = loudly
بِهِى~إِنَّهُ,عَلِيمُم بِذَاتِ اُلصُّدُورِ = "Bi Hi~~ In~na Hu~ 'A-li~mum~Bi DZa~tish-SHu-du~~rr". "Bi Hi~" = with it, "In~na" = really, "Hu~" = He, " 'A-li~mun" = know, "Bi" = of, "DZa~ti ash-SHu-du~rr" = the hidden thought.
"Wa A-sir-ru~ Qow-la Kum A-wijj-ha-ru~ Bi Hu~~In~na Hu~ 'A-li~mum~Bi DZa~tish-SHu-du~~rr." = And (you can) keep your (unkind) words (about the Prophet s.a.w.) a secret or tell it out loudly. Truly, Allah knows (about it and) all hidden thoughts. (The pagan Arabs were saying unkind words about the Prophet s.a.w. and the Archangel, Gabriel a.s. told the Prophet s.a.w. about it. Then, the pagan Arabs told each other to talk secretly about the Prophet s.a.w. so that he would not know about it. Thence, Allah revealed this verse).
