Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue recite surah 67 Al-Mulk. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(8) تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ اُلْغَيْظِ صلى كُلَّمَآ أُلْقِىَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌ

صلى = a Waqof Jaiz/permissible pause sign.
"Ta-ka~du Ta-mai-ya-zu Mi-nal-Ghoi~zh" = (The Hell) is on the brink of bursting in rage,
Kul-la-ma~~ Ul-qi-ya Fi~ Ha~", "Kul-la-ma~" = whenever, "Ul-qi-ya" = to throw, "Fi~Ha~" = in it

(Note: When a verse is long and we do not know where to pause for a breather, try this: This was taught by my Taranum Quran teacher, Ustaz Nik Azizan bin Nik Jaafar: at every Madd, i.e. A~: Ja~~, ma~ etc, without pausing, while pronouncing those Madd, draw in  breath by the mouth. When you have mastered the technic, see and practise on others, such as, I~ : Bi~ etc.).
(to be continued).
                               oooo000oooo
Let us continue with the Basic Islamic Rules:
(2) Solat: To know the time for each solat:In this modern time, the time of solat is not a problem. The Azan/call to prayer can be heard from the mosque or place of solat, the radio, the TV, or gadget such as the Azan clock and so forth or it can be obtained from newspapers. If there were none of these, then, (1)the Maghrib/ sunset: between sunset, the sun cannot be seen anymore until the twilight disappears. (2) 'Isyaa/beginning of night: after the twilight has disappeared until the break of dawn/begin to grow light, (3) Subuh/morning: between the break of dawn until just before sunrise. (4) Zuhur/midday: from the time the sun has moves away from the middle of the sky/the overhead sun to the West/immediately afternoon, until the shadow of an object is longer than that object. (5) 'Asr/afternoon: when the shadow of an object is longer than that object until sunset.
(to be continued)
Solat 'Alal-Janazah:
After the Maiyit/deceased has been given a bath/ablution, and is "Kafan"/shroud/dressed for the grave, it is laid lengthwise/its right side towards the Qiblat. The Imam will stand, if it is a male, beside its head, if it is a female, beside its waist, facing the Qiblat. If there are more than one Maiyit, they are arranged side by side and may be solat together at one time. If there are males and females, the males be solat first, then the females.
After the first "Takbiratul-Ih*rom, recite surah Al-Fatihah softly. Then Takbir and recite softly SHolawat for the Prophet s.a.w.:
"Allohum~ma SHol-li 'A-la~ Muham~mad wa 'A-la~ A~li Muhammad Ka-ma~ SHol-lai Ta 'A-la~ Ibro~hi~m Wa 'A-la~ A~li Ibro-hi~m, Wa Ba~rik 'A-la~ Muhammad Wa 'A-la~ A~li Muhammad Ka-ma~ Ba~rok Ta 'A-la~ Ibrohi~m Wa 'A-la~ A~li Ibrohi~m Fil-'A~la-mi~na In~na Ka H*ami~dum~Ma-ji~dd". = O Allah, shower blessings to Prophet Muhammad and his kin just as You have showered blessings to Prophet Abraham and his kin, and bless Muhammad and his kin with favour just as You have blessed with favour on Abraham and his kin among the whole inhabitants of the universe. Truly, You, O Allah, is Most Praiseworthy, Most Nobel.
Then Takbir again and recite doa softly for the Maiyit. Then Takbir again and recite softly the final doa. Then make salam to the right.
(The Prophet s.a.w. make only one salam to the right). End of solat 'alal-Janazah.
