أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh verse 235. Please refer to the Text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
عَلِمَ اللهُ أَنَّكُمْ سَتَذْكُرُونَهُنَّ وَلَكِن لَّا تُوَاعِدُوهُنَّ سِرًّا إِلَّا أَن تَقُولُواْ قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوفًا  ج
=  " 'A-li-mal-Lohu An~na Kum Sa Tadz-ku-ru~na Hun~na Wa La~kil-La~ Tu-wa~'i-du~ Hun~na Sir-ron Il-la~~ Ant~Ta-qu~-lu~ Qou-lam~Ma'a-ru~fa~".
" 'A-li-ma" = to know,  "Al-Lohu" = The (One and Only) God (who have no parents nor child nor anyone or any thing equal to Him),  "An~na" = that,  "Kum" = you (pl.),  "Sa" = will (future tense),  "Tadz-ku-ru~na" = to mention to, "Hun~na" = them (fem. pl.),  "Wa-la~kin" = but, however, "La~" = do not,  "Tu-wa~'i-du~" = "Hun~na" = them (fem. pl.), "Sir-ron" = secretly,  "Il-la~~" = except, "An" = that, "Ta-qu~lu~" = you (pl.) say, "Qou-lan" = saying, word, "Ma'a-ru~fan" = amicable, pleasent.
= " Allah Know that you (pl.) will mention to them (fem. pl,), but do not make a promise to them secretly (about the marriage) except you say (to them with) amicable / nice words".  =  ( Allah know what is in a man's heart towards a woman he wishes to propose to a marriage, and there is no sin in it, but what is prohibited is making a secret promise to them, such as by saying, "I truly love you. Promise me that you will not marry another man but me", or "Do not leave me because I am going to marry you". However, Allah do not prohibit proposal made with nice and plesent words, such as, "Really I am very interested in and am attracted to lovely you", or "Please do not marry me until you really know me".).
(to be continued).
Till we meet again, see You Quran Lovers later.
Wassalamu alikum w. w.
Abdul Hamid Mohd Yusof Ali.
