Recitation No. 388

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh verse 234. Please refer to the Text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
فَإِذَا بَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا فَعَلْنَ فِى أَنفُسِهِنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوف قلى
= " Fa I-dza~ Ba-lagh-na A-ja-la Hun~na Fa La~ Ju-na~ha 'A-lai Kum Fi~ Ma~ Fa-'al-na  Fi~~ Inf~fu-si Hin~na Bil-Ma'a-ru~~~f".
"Fa" = Then
"I-dza~" ( a Mad Ashli, 2 harakah) = if, when
"Ba-lagh-na" = they reach, attain
"A-ja-la" = period
"Hun~na" (a Wajibul-Ghunnah /Obligatory to nasalize the Nun to 2 harakah) = their (fem. pl)
"Fa" = then
"La~" ( a Mad Ashli, 2 harakah) = no
"Ju-na~ha" ( a Mad Ashli, 2 harakah)
" 'A-lai" = ( a Mad Lin / soft and without emphasis, to 2 harakah) = on, upon
"Kum" = you (pl.)
"Fi~" (a Mad Ashli, 2 harakah) = in
" Ma~" ( a Mad Ashli, 2 harakah)
" Fa-'al-na" = they (fem. pl.) do
" Fi~~" (a Mad Jaiz Munfashil / Permissible Disjoining Mad where after the Mad Ashli is a "Standing Hamzah", and are of 2 separate words, to 2 or 4 or 6 harakah) = in
"Anf~fu-si (an Ikh-faa Haqiqi where the silent Nun is concealed simply, without emphasis and with a humming sound of the nasal to 2 harakah) = selves
" Hun~na" (a Wajibul-Ghunnah / Obligatory to nasalize the Syaddah Nun to 2 harakah) = their (fem. pl.)
" Bi " = with (after it is an Alif Lam Qomariah where the letter "Alif" with a tiny head of "Sod" is not pronounced, but the silent Lam is , "Bil"
"(Al)-Ma'a-ru~fi" (a Mad Ashli, but it is paused upon, so, the Mad Ashli becomes a Mad 'A-ridh Lis-Sukun / Transitory to cease Mad, to 2 or 4 or 6 harakah, and the marked letter "Fa" is made silence, "-ru~~f" ) = kindness, accordingly.
قلى  = a Waqof Jaiz Maa Kaun Al-Waqof Awla sign denotes pausing is permitted and is preferred.
=  "Then when they (fem. pl.) have attained their " 'Iddah" / waiting period (i.e. 4 months and 10 days), then there is no sin on you (pl.) {i.e. the heirs} in whatever they / the widows do to themselves accordingly".   = (Then when their / the widows' 'Iddah / waiting period is over, you / their heirs i.e. the widows' father, paternal grandfather, patnl. brother, nephew (son of the brother), ptnl. uncle, son of the ptnl. uncle, and a Muslim Judge, are not sinned on whatever appropriate things that they do, such as adorning themseves with make-ups, applying perfume, leaving the place / house they stayed while in the 'Iddah, or to remarry which are un lawful against them to do during their 'Iddah. However, it is permissible that they leave their house during the 'Iddah to go to do their chore or to a clinic but without make-up.).
