Recitation 299

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(149)  وَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ اُلْمَسْجِدِ اُلْحَرَامِ صلى وَإِنَّهُو لَلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ قلى وَمَا اُللهُ بِغَفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
وَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ = "Wa Min Hai-thu KHo-rojj-ta Fa Wal-li Wajj-ha Ka",  "Wa" = And, "Min" = from, to, "Hai-thu" = wherever, "KHo-rojj" = go, "Ta" = you, "Fa" = then, "Wal-li" = turn, "Wajj-ha" = face, "Ka" = your,
شَطْرَ اُلْمَسْجِدِاُلْحَرَامِ = "SYat-rol-Mas-ji-dil-Ha-ro~mi",  "SYat-ro" = direction, "al-Mas-ji-di" = the mosque, "al-Ha-ro~mi" = the forbidden, Sacred,
صلى = a Waqof Jaiz but conjunction is preferred sign.
وَإِنَّهُو لَلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ = "Wa In~na Hu~ Lal-Haq-qu Mir-Rob-bik".  "Wa" = and, "In~na" = truly, "Hu~" = it is, "La" = due to, "al-Haq-qu" = the truth, "Min" = from, "Rob-bi" = Lord, "Ka" = your.
"Wa Min Hai-thu KHo-rojj Ta Fa Wal-li Wajj-ha Ka SYat-rol-Mas-ji-dil-Ha-ro~mi Wa In~na Hu~ Lal-Haq-qu Mir-Rob-bik".  = And to wherever you go (on a journey), then turn your face towards the direction of the Masjil-Ha-ro~m/Sacred Mosque. And truly, it is due to the Truth from your Lord.
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَمَا اُللهُ بِغَفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ = "Wa Mal-Lohu Bi GHo~fi-lin 'Am~ma~ Taa-ma-lu~~n".  "Wa" = And, "Ma~" = not, "Al-Lohu" = Allah, "Bi" = is with, "GHo~fi-lin" = unaware, " 'Am~ma~" = of what, "Taa-ma-lu~na" = you (pl.) do.
"Wa Mal-Lohu Bi GHo~fi-lin 'Am~ma~ Taa-ma-lu~~n".  = And Allah is not unaware of what you (pl.) do.
(Allah decree us, those who are in a journey, to face towards the direction of the Caaba in Solat. We must know the point of the compass towards the Caaba, i.e. Mecca. We are not decreed to worship Caaba. Caaba is but a direction towards which to be faced  in the Solat. We worship only Allah and nothing else. By doing this, Allah will be fully aware of the good deed we all do in obeying His commandment.).
