بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers, Let us continue recite surah 90 Al-Baladd. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(10) وَهَدَيْنَهُ اُلنَّجْدَيْنِ = "Wa Ha-dai Na~hun~Najj-dai~n. " "Wa" = And, "Ha-dai" = show, "Na~" = We, "Hu" = him, "an~Najj-dai-ni" = the 2 uphills, uplands.
"Wa Ha-dai Na~ Hun~Najj-dai~n" = And We/Allah showed him/mankind the two upland ways (the good deeds and the sinful ways for him to choose).
(11) فَلَا اُقْتَحَمَ اُلْعَقَبَةَ = "Fa Laqq-ta-h*a-mal-'A-qo-bah". "Fa La~" = Then not, "iqq-ta-h*a-ma" = to rush, to hasten, "al-'A-qo-ba-ta" = the obstacle.
"Fa Laqq-ta-ha-mal-'A-qo-bah" = But he does not undertake the uphill ways (he does not give thanks to Allah who gave him "Niimah"/amenities, happiness and comforts though he had to undergo hardship and to face difficulties).
(12) (to be continued).
                                  oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
(2) Solat: Water and Its Kinds:
(Before we discuss about the "Mustaamal"/used water, we would like to add, that water from (a) a river, (b) a lake, (c) a pond, (d) a stream, (e) a spring and so forth are pure, clean and it cleanses. These are the water we find in our water taps. These kinds of water are not mentioned in this Book "Fiqh As-Sunnah", because  these water are from the sky).
(b) "Mustaamal"/used water: A Hadith from Rubaiyii binti Mu'awwidz when explaining the way the Prophet s.a.w. took his Wudhuu, said, "And he s.a.w. wiped his head with the surplus water which was still in his hands". And (b) Abu Hurairah r.a. related that one day while was in Janabah, he met the Prophet s.a.w. on the road. Then he hurriedly left the Prophet and took a Ghusul. Then he went back to the Prophet, who asked him where did he go a moment ago. Abu Hurairah r.a. told the Prophet that he in major defilement and did not want to be with the Prophet in his defilement condition, to take a bath. The Prophet s.a.w. said, "Subhanal-Loh! Truly, Muumin/believers are never defiled." (narrated by the Jamaah). This Hadith shows that water used on a person does not make the water defiled and lost its function to cleanse. [ (c) A companion of the Prophet explained: "That the Prophet s.a.w. disallowed women to Ghusul with the surplus water of a man and vice versa and both of them should take bath together at the same time." (narrated by abu Daud, An-Nasai = in :Bulughul Maram :4.". (d) From Ibnu Abbas, he explained, " That the Prophet s.a.w. used to bathe with the surplus water used by his wife, Maimunah". (narrated by Ahmad and Muslim : Al-Muntaqo : 1.11: Bulughul Maram : 4). (e) From Ibnu Abbas who said, " One of the Prophet's wives took Ghusul from an earthware basin. Then the Prophet s.a.w. came to take wudhuu or to bathe from the basin, his wife said, "O Messenger of Allah, I had just taken a major ablution with this water.". The Prophet s.a.w. replied, "But the water is not Janabah/defiled." (narrated by Ahmad, Abu Daud, AnNasai and Tirmidzi. = Al-Muntaqo 1.11).
Water used in the Wudhuu or in Ghusul is clean and cleanses except if its taste or ordour or colour changes, then it is not.]
(c) Water mixed with clean things (to be continued).
