Dear Quran Lovers,
We shall now continue recite surah 89 Wal-Fajrr. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(4) وَاُلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَسْرِ  = "Wal-Lai-li I-dza~ Yasrr". "Wa" = And, "al-lai-li" the night, "I-dza~" = when, "Yas-ri" = pass.
"Wal-Lai-li I-da~ Yasrr" = And by the night when it passes away (and a new day comes).
Hal Fi~ DZa~li-ka", "Hal" = Is, "Fi~" = in, "DZa~l-ka" = that
Qo-sa-mul-Li-dzi~ H*ijrr". "Qo-sa-mun" = swearing, "H*ijj-rin" = competence.
"Hal Fi~ DZa~li-ka Qo-sa-mul-La-dzi~ H*ijrr" = Is it (not sufficient) in these swearing (that Allah made as in verses (1) By the dawn (2) By the 10 nights (3) By the dual and single, and (4) By the night, to the satisfaction) to those who understand?
A-lam Ta-ro Kai-fa", = "A-lam" = Do not, "Ta-ro" = you see, "Kai-fa" = how
Fa-'a-la Rob-bu Ka Bi 'A~~dd". "Fa-'a-la" = acted, "Rob-bu" = Lord, "Ka" = your, "Bi" = with, against, " 'A~din" = 'A~d (tribe).
"A-lam Ta-ro Kai-fa Fa-'a-la Rob-bu Ka Bi 'A~~dd" = Do you not see how your Lord/Allah had acted against (the tribe of) 'A~d?
I-ro-ma DZa~til-'I-ma~~dd". "I-ro-ma" = Irma, "DZa~ti" = owner of, "al-'I-ma~di" = the poles.
"I-ro-ma DZa~til-'Ima~~dd" = (That is ) The inhabitants of Irma who had (tents) with long poles (because they always went to places abound with rain and they had to pitch camp. After they had done their business there, they would return to their village, Al-Ahqof in Hadhorol-Maut, in Yemen).
(8) (to be continued).
                           oooo000oooo
Let us continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
(2) Solat: GHusul: Janabah/major defilement:
Forbidden Acts of a person while in Janabah/major defilement:
(iv) To recite verses of the Quran: According to the Multitude of Ulama, people while in the Janabah are Haram/forbidden to recite any verse of the Quran as they based their opinion on  a Hadith from Ali r.a., "That the Prophet s.a.w. said: "There is nothing stands between it and the Quran except Janabah/major defilement" (narrate by the Majority and was verified by Tirmidzi and others). (a) Syaukani said, "This Hadith does not say reciting verse of the Quran is Haram. It only showed that the Prophet s.a.w. abstained from reciting verses of the Quran. It cannot be used as a basis to rule it as a Makruh/detestable, what more as Haram." (b) While Bukhari, Thabrani, Daud and Ibnu Hazmin were of the opinion that it is permissible for the Janabah people to recite verses of the Quran. Bukhari said, "According to Ibrahim, There is nothing to prevent women with menses to recite the Quran". Ibnu Abbas was
of the opinion that Janabah people may recite the Quran because the Prophet s.a.w. had always recite "dzikrr"/remembering Allah at all time". Bukhari added, "There is no Hadith forbidding Janabah people and women with menses from reciting the Quran that could be recognised as a valid Hadith."
(v) To stay in a mosque: (to be continued).
Until the next session, we shall see you all Quran Lovers later.
