Recitation 127

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
In order to have a "Nafsu Almut*main~nah"/peaceful, serenity soul, we must be a believer doing good deeds and always recite "DZikir"/remembering Allah. What better and simple dzikir to be recited than the "Basmalah"/BismilLahirRohma~nirRohi~m each time we start to do something, and when finish doing it, recite, "Al-Hamdulillah".
Let us continue recite surah 90 Al-Baladd. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(3) وَوَالِدٍ وَمَا وَلَدَ = "Wa Wa~li-diw~Wa Ma~ Wa-ladd". "Wa" = And, "Wa~li-din" = fathers, "Wa Ma~" = and what/those, "Wa-la-da" = to beget.
"Wa Wa~li-diw~Wa Ma~ Wa-ladd". = (Allah swears) And by all fathers (Prophet Adam a.s, Abraham a.s.) and those children (of Adam a.s. and Abraham a.s.) they begotten.
(4) لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا اُلْإِنسَنَ فِى كَبَدٍ = "La-qodd KHo-laqq Nal-Ins~sa~na Fi~ Ka-badd". "La-qodd" = Indeed, "KHo-laqq" = created, "Na~" = We, "al-Ins~sa~na" = the mankind, "Fi~" = in, "Ka-ba-din" = enduring.
"La-qodd KHo-laqq Nal-Ins~sa~na Fi~ Ka-badd" = Indeed, We/Allah created mankind in enduring difficulties (as from his/her existence in his/her mother's womb until he is being born, then until he can walk, then growing up. There are the difficulties he/she, his/her parents and others have to face in their lifetime).
(5) أَيَحْسَبُ أَن لَّن يَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ = "A Yah*-sa-bu Al-Lay~Yaqq-di-ro 'A-lai Hi A-h*add". "A Yah*sa-bu" = Do they consider, think, "An" = that, "Lan" = not, never, "Yaqq-di-ro" = have power, " 'A-lai Hi" = over him, "A-h*a-dun" = one, anyone.
"A Yah*-sa-bu Al-Lay~Yaqq-di-ro 'A-lai Hi A-h*add". = Do they consider/think that there is no one who has the power over them (and there is no Doomsday nor there is anyone to requite them for what they have done on earth)?
(6) (to be continued).
                                oooo000oooo
Let us look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
(2) Solat: Wudhuu and Ghusul:
(V) We have examined the Rules of Wudhuu/minor ablution and Ghusul/major ablution and they are done by washing, and of course with water. (Have we, for a second, stop and think about the wonder of water?).
In this modern time, we obtain water mostly from the water pipe. If there were no water pipe, these are the kinds of water that we may use to take major and/or minor ablution, and to cleanse the minor and the major defilements. This water must be of pure water. They are: (i) Water that descend from the sky, i.e. the Rain, the Snow or Ice, the Hail, and the Dew, these are based on surah 8, Al-Anfal, verse 11, and s. 25 Al-Furqon v. 48 that Allah sends down water from the sky that we may purify/cleanse ourselves from the major and the minor defilements. And in a Hadith from Abu Harairah r.a. "The Prophet s.a.w. had always recited a doa in his solat after his Takbirotul-Ihrom and before reciting the Fatihah: " ... O Allah, purify me like You cleanse a dirty white linen. O Allah purify me from my errors with the snow, the (rain) water and the dew." (narrated by Jamaah/Company except Tirmidzi).
(ii) The Sea water: Abu Hurairah r.a. reported that a man had asked the Prophet s.a.w., said, "O Messenger of Allah, we used to go out to the sea bringing a little water with us. If we used that water for wudhuu, we would not have water to drink. Can we use the sea water for Wudhuu?" The Prophet s.a.w. replied, "It/the sea water is pure/clean and purifies/can clean defilement, and its deads/fish and sea creatures are "Halal"/permissible to be eaten". (narrated by the Five).
(iii) (to be continued).
Until the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
