بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
We shall now recite surah 90 Al-Baladd. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
(1) لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِهَذَا اُلْبَلَدِ
لَآ أُقْسِمُ = "La~~ Uq-si-mu",  "La~" = No, "Uq-si-mu" = to swear,
بِهَذَا اُلْبَلَدِ = "Bi Ha~dzal-Ba-ladd".  "Bi" = by, "Ha~dza~" = this, "al-Ba-la-di" = the country, city.
"La~~ Uq-si-mu Bi Ha~dzal-Ba-ladd" = No! I/Allah swear by this City/Mecca.
(2) وَأَنتَ حِلُّمبِهَذَا اُلْبَلَدِ = "Wa Ant~ta H*il-lum~Bi Ha~dzal-Ba-ladd".  "Wa Ant~ta" = And you, "H*il-lun" = lawful, "Bi" = in, "Ha~dza~" = this, "al-Ba-la-di" = city.
"Wa Ant~ta H*il-lum~Bi Ha~dzal-Ba-ladd" = And you (O Muhammad) reside in (or: are being condemned and  being afflicted in/ or: will conquer) this City.
[As it is mentioned in an authentic Hadith: "Truly, this City/Mecca was made sanctified by Allah in the beginning when He created the heavens and the earth. And that City/Mecca remains sacred in the sacredness as was determined by Allah until the Day of Judgement. All trees in the City /Mecca are forbidden to be cut down, and the crops and the plants which are still alive are forbidden to be pulled out. Truly, I was allowed (to do battle in there/Mecca) for just one second during the day time (the day in the 7th year of the Hijrah) the Prophet s.a.w. conquered Mecca without spilling a drop of blood). Today, the prohibition (to do battle in the City) is (once again) being imposed, as it was before. Be known! Those who are present today should convey (this message) to those who are not present." And (b) in another Hadith, "Should there be anyone who feels that he is given relief to do battle that was once given to the Messenger of Allah, say: "Truly, Allah had only permitted His Messenger (to do battle in Mecca) and does not permit any of you."]
(3) (to be continued).
Until we meet in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers soon.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
