                                  oooo000oooo
Now we shall continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
(2) Solat: Water and Its Kinds:
{Before we look into the Rule of Water, there might be a question asked about the Hadith, "Muumin/believer is pure, not defiled", then how is that we, Muslims are required to take Wudhuu when in minor defilement and to take Ghusul when in major defilement? How is that when we defiled and we had washed away the defilement from our bodies, we are asked to cleanse our bodies? The answer is, if we still remember the Hadith from Abdullah Ash-Shunabaji r.a. and narrated by Malik, Ibnu Majah and Nasai and Hakim, that Rasulullah s.a.w. said, " When a person takes a Wudhuu and rinses his mouth, the sins of his mouth will be cleansed and so forth until the end of the Hadith". And (2) the Hadith from Abu Hurairah r.a. and narrated by the Jamaah except Tirmidzi that the Prophet s.a.w. used to recite a Doa after his Takbiratul-Ihrom and before reciting the Al-Fatihah, in his solat, the Prophet s.a.w. recited: ".... O Allah! Cleanse my errors with the snow, the rain water and the dew", showed us that the minor and the major defilements that we are cleansing are not physical defilements, but are of spiritual/faith defilements}.
(c) Water mixed with clean things: such as with soap, water-lily, flour and so forth which can be separated from the water. The "Hukum"/Rule is: that water is pure and can purifies. This is based on a Hadith from 'Athiyah that the Prophet s.a.w. asked the lady who washes/bathes Zainab r.a., his daughter, with water containing Sidrin/lotus jujube 3, 5 or more times and the finale wash was to be mixed with camphor. (ii) A Hadith from Ummu Hanii that the Prophet s.a.w. took bath with his wife Maimunah r.a. from a water container which still had remnant of flour in it.
(d) Water mixed with "Najis"/defilement: (to be continued).
Until we meet in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
