ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh, synopsis of Islam. Please refer to the text:
Yas-a-lu~na Ka Ma~dza~ Yunf~fi-qu~~n". =  "Yas-a-lu~na" = They ask, "Ka" = you, "Ma~dza~" = what, "Yunf~fi-qu~na" = they spend/disburst.
"Yas-a-lu~na Ka Ma~dza~ Yunf~fi-qu~~n". = They asked you (O Muhammad) about what (and to whom) they should spend/provide for support.
صلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
قُلْ مَآ أَنفَقْتُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ فَلِلْوَلِدَيْنِ وَاُلْأَقْرَبِينَ = "Qul Ma~~ Anf~faqq Tum~Min KHoi-rinf~Fa Lil-Wa~li-dai-ni Wal-Aqq-ro-bi~na,"  = "Qul" = Say, "Ma~" = whatever, "Anf~faqq" = provision, "Tum" = you (pl.), "Min" = of, "KHoi-rin" = good, "Fa" = then, is, "Li" = for, "al-Wa~li-dai-ni" = the both parents, "Wa" = and, "al-Aqq-ro-bi~na" = relatives,
وَاُلْيَتَمَى وَاُلْمَسَكِينِ وَاُبْنِ اُلسَّبِيلِ = "Wal-Ya-ta~ma~ Wal-Ma-sa~ki~na Wabb-nis-Sa-bi~~l". = "Wa" = and, "al-Ya-ta~ma~" = the orphans, "Wa" = and, "al-Ma-sa~ki~na" = the poor, the beggers, "Wa" = and, "Ibb-nis-Sa-bil~li" = wayfarer, wanderer.
"Qul Ma~~Anf~faqq Tum~Min KHoi-rinf~Fa Lil-Wa~li-dai-ni Wal-Aqq-ro-bi~na Wal-Ya-ta~ma~ Wal-Ma-sa~ki~ni Wabb-nis-Sa-bi~~l"  = Say, "Whatever provision that is good is for both of your parents and for your relatives that are close to you, and for the orphans, and for the poor and the beggers, and for the wayfarer and the wanderer (either they are Muslimin or non-Muslimin).
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَمَا تَفْعَلُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اُللهَ بِهِى عَلِيمٌ = "Wa Ma~ Taf-'a-lu~ Min KHoi-rinf~Fa In~nal-Loha Bi Hi~ 'A-li~~m".  "Wa" = and, "Ma~" = whatever, "Taf-'a-lu~" = you (pl.) do, "Min" = of, "KHoi-rin" = good, "Fa" = then, "In~na" = truly, surely, "Al-Loha" = Allah, "Bi" = about, "Hi~" = it, " 'A-li~mun" = Know.
"Wa Ma~ Taf-'a-lu~ Min KHoi-rinf~Fa In~nal-Loha Bi Hi~ 'A-li~~m". = And whatever good/charity you do, surely, Allah Know about it.".
(Ibnu Abbas r.a. and Mujahid were of the opinion that the Prophet s.a.w. was asked by a Muslim how to provide a maintenance, Allah s.w.t. replied that they, the Muslimin should provide whatever provision that is good to their both parents, their relatives, the orphans, the poor and the beggers, and the wayfarer and the wanderer.
And from a Hadith narrated by Ahmad, Abu Daud, Tirmidzi and Hakim that the Muslimin should provide to their both parents, their sisters and their brothers, then those who closely related to them.
[These are given after providing for our wives and children and our household members].
The verse, "And whatever good/charity you do, surely, Allah Know about it" means Allah s.w.t. know whatever good/charity we do, and He s.w.t. will reimburse and award you with bigger rewards, for Allah s.w.t. is and have never be unjust to any one.).
(216) (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Abdul Hamid Mohd Yusof.
