Recitation 359.L

Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to look into the Rites For Hajj:
When we leave Mecca city for Arafah to perform the Rukun/basic element Wukuf, it is Sunnah to go to Mina first on the Tarwiah Day, 8th of Dzul-Hijjah.
It is Sunnah to recite this Dzikir when we leave Mecca city for Mina:
اللَّهُمَّ إِيَّاكَ أَرْجُواْ وَلَكَ أَدْعُواْ = "Al-Lohum~ma Iy-ya~ Ka Ar-ju~ Wa La Ka Ad-'u~" = (O Allah, onto You I ask, and to You I appeal,
Fa Bal-ligh Ni~ Sho~li-ha A-ma-li~" = (please fulfil my wishes and desires for me,
Wagh-fir Li~ Dzu-nu~bi~" = ( and forgive me for all my sins
وَامْنُنْ عَلَىَّ بِمَا مَنَنْتَ بِهِى عَلَى أَهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ = "Wam-nun 'A-lai-ya Bi Ma~ Ma-nan Ta Bi Hi~ 'A-la~ Ah-li To~'a-tik" = (and bestow kindness and favour to me just as You have bestowed to those people who are obedient to You,
In~na Ka 'A-la~ Kul-li Syai-in Qo-di~r" = (truly, You are all-Powerful). (as told by An-Nawawi).
It is Sunnah that we be in the Ihrom from our hotel or our place of stay. It is Sunnah to recite the Talbiyah, and entreat Doa as many as we can. And it is Sunnah to perform Solat Zhuhur, 'Ashor, Maghrib and 'Isaa and stay overnight there, in Mina. We, who are performing the Hajj should not leave the place before sunrise on the 9th. of Dzul-Hijjah. This is in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet s.a.w.
But if we do not go to Mina and perform all that were mentioned above, we have not followed the Sunnah, but we are not to be penalized because Aisyah r.a. herself had not left Mecca on the Tarwiyah Day, the 8th, Dzul-Hijjah, but only after a third of that night that she r.a. left, (she r.a. did not go to Mina).
It is Sunnah to recite this Dzikir from Mina (or from Mecca, if our Sheikh said that we do not stop at Mina but we go straight to Arafah) to Arafah:
اللَّهُمَّ إِلَيْكَ تَوَجَّهْتُ وَوَجِهِكَ الْكَرِيْمَ أَرَدْتُ = "Al-Lohum~ma I-lai Ka Ta-waj-jah Tu Wa Waj-hi Kal-Ka-ri~ma A-rot-tu( an Idghom Mutajanisain= the دْ is changed to تْ)" = (O Allah, I turn my face to You, and Your Exalted Self is what I want.
Faj-'al Dzam~bi~ Magh-fu~ro~" = ( and make me a person whose sin is forgiven,
Wa Haj-ji~ Mab-ru~ro~" =  (and make my Hajj a blessed, accepted one,
War-ham Ni~ Wa La~ Tu-khoi-yib Ni~" = (and have mercy on me and do not fail me (in these Rites),
In~na Ka 'A-la~ Kul-li Syai-in Qo-di~r" = ( Truly, Your are all-Powerful). (as told by An-Nawawi).
When in Arafah, it better for us not to go out from our tent, for we may lost our way. Stay in the tent and be safe.
We have recited the Doa reported by Ali r.a. and narrated by Baihaqi last session. Let us now look at another Doa narrated by At-Tirmidzi:
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحِمْدُ كَالَّذِيْ تَقُوْلُ = "Al-Lohum~ma La Kal-Ham-du Kal-la-dzi~ Ta-qu~l" = (O Allah, all praise and thanks to You for what You said
Wa Khoi-rom~Mim~Ma~ Na Qu~l" = (and they are much better than what we say,
اللًَّهُمَّ لَكَ صَلَاتِى وَنُسُكِى وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِى = "Al-Lohum~ma La Ka Sho-la~ti~ Wa Nu-su-ki~ Wa Mah-ya~ya Wa Ma-ma~ti~" = (O Allah, my solat and my devotions and my life and my death  are all for You,
Wa Il-lai Ka Ma~bi~ Wa La Ka Rob-bi Tu-ro~thi~" = ( and for You is my return, and to You, O my Lord, are all my legacy
Al-Lohum~ma A-'u~dzu Bi Ka Min 'A-dza~bil-Qob-ri" = (O Allah, I seek protection by You from the torment in the grave,
Wa Was-wa-sa-tish-Shod-ri" = (and from the wicked thoughts in the heart,

Wa Sya-ta~til-Am-ri" = (and from the disorderly things, undertakings,
اللَّهُمَّ أَعُوذُبِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا تَهُبُّ بِهِ الرِّيحُ = "Al-Lohum~ma A-'u~dzu Bi Ka Min Syar-ri Ma~ Ta-hub-bu Bi Hir-Ri~h". = (O Allah, I seek protection by You from the harm cause the brewing wind/storm).
  (b) Wukuf is one of the Sunnah of Prophet Abraham a.s. ( as reported by Mirbaa Anshori, narrated by Tirmidzi).
  (c) Fasting On Arafah Day: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later:
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
