Recitation 359.K

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Before we look into the Rites for the Hajj, we must remember, (a) wherever the are crowd, even in the Sacred place, the Baitulloh, there are the pickpockets, very professional and well skilled pickpocketers. They are young people, men and women, they usually use folded small scissors. When they pick our pocket, we will not know nor feel it, even a lady who keeps her money in the pocket of her underclothing, after discovering that all money in her underclothing pocket are lost, will find the under part of the pocket has been sliced. So, do not carry much money when going to crowded places, wherever it is.
(b) In the previous session, I mentioned about ladies perform Solat together with the menfolks, either standing in front or in the same line with the menfolks. Menfolks need not worry, and need not leave the line they are in, it is not their fault. Allah s.w.t. is not unreasonable, He s.w.t. is Most Understanding, Most Merciful. The wrong is with the ladies and not the men. Insya Allah, the menfolks' Solat will be valid and be accepted by Allah s.w.t.
(c) Before we go to the Arafah for Wukuf, if it better to discuss with our Sheikh Hajj about our Qurban, sacrifice on the 'Idul-Adhha Day. Leave the Qurban to him/them, they know better.
  (13) The Rite For The Hajj:
When we are informed by the Sheikh Hajj when we are to leave for 'Arafah for Wuquf, which one of the Arkan/basic elements of the Hajj, on the "Tarwiyah"/transmission day, that is on the Eigth of Dzul-Hijjah, made ourselves ready for it. (i) Cleanse ourselves, as we did for our Umra, take ablution, wear our Ihrom cloths/ clothings, and perform 2 Rokaat Solat Ihrom. Some Ulama say we may resolve our Niat for Ihrom Hajj at the hotel room, but usually, we resolve our Niat at the Miqot. [We must follow the instrctions of our Sheikh Hajj. For they follow the instructions from the Saudian Department of Hajj]. Our concern here is what to do and what to recite/perform:
 (a) The Excellence Of 'Arafah Day:
In a lengthy Hadith from Jabir r.a., and from Anas bin Malik and from Aisyah r.a., (in short), these are said by the Prophet s.a.w. (i) Being in there/Arafah is the same as Jihad Fi Sabilillah/to strive for the cause of Allah/Holy war against Satan and infidelity. (ii) On this day, Allah s.w.t. descend to the earth and is proud about His s.w.t. bondservants on earth, and tell the inhabitants of the heavens, "Look at My bondservants on earth. They have come to have an audience with Me in their dusty and tousled condition and they came bringing their sacrifices. They came from four corners of the earth expecting My Rohmat and they do not care for My torment". (iii) There no other day on which Allah free more people from Hell than the Arafah Day. (iv) On this day, Allah do away all their badness. (v) On this day, Allah fulfil all the the wishes of the people who are in Araf and in Al-Masy-'aril-Harom/Mudz-dalifah.
Wukuf/to stop at the Arafah plain is on the Nineth of Dzul-Hijjah from  Zhuhur time until dawn the next morning. (The Syafieiah says it is until night time, while the Hanbaliah is of the opinion, the Wukuf is from dawn of the Nineth  until dawn on the Idul-Adhha/Nahar Day.).
Performing the Wukuf, it is Sunnah for us to bathe ourslves. Take the ablution, then facing the Qiblat and recite as many Istighfar, Dzikir, entreat Doa for ourselves and for others and for every thing that our hearts desire as many as we possibly can. And when entreating Doa, raise our both hands.
It is preferred to recite:
لَا إلَهَ إلَّا الله وَحْدَهُ لأَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ, لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ, وَهُو عَلَى كُلِّ شَئٍ قَدِيْرُ = "La~ I-la~ha Il-Lal-Lohu Wah-da Hu~ La~ Sya-ri~ka Lah, La Hul-Mul-Ku Wa La Hul-Ham-du Wa Hu-wa 'A-la~ Kul-li Syai-in Qo-di~r.".
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِى بَصَرِى نُوْرًا = "Al-Lohum~maj-'al Fi~ Ba-sho-ri~ Nu~ron", = (O Allah make my sight clear/radiant,

وَشِتَاتِ الْأَمْرِ, وَشَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْقَبْرِ = "Wa Syi-ta~til-Am-ri, Wa Syar-ri Fit-na-til-Qob-ri" = (and from disorderly of my things, undertakings, and from the disaster in the grave,
وَشَرِّ مَا يَلِجُ فِى اللَّيْلِ , وَشَرِّ مَا يَلِجُ فِى النَّهَارِ = "Wa Syar-ri Ma~ Ya-li-ju Fil-Lai-li, Wa Syasr-ri Ma~ Ya-li-ju Fin~Na-ha~r" = ( and from the harm which breeds during the night, and from the harm that breeds during the day,
وَشَرِّ مَا تَهُبُّ بِهِ الرِّيَاحُ , وَشَرِّ بَوَائِقِ الدَّهْرِ = "Wa Syar-ri Ma~ Ta-hub-bu Bi Hir-Ri-ya~h,  Wa Syar-ri Ba-wa~i-qod-Dah-ri" = ( and from the evil and harm brewed by the wind/storm, and from the harm of the calamity of the lifetime). (From Ali r.a. narrated by Baihaqi).
  (b) A Doa narrated by Tirmidzi: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
